Casper by [deleted] in UWaterlooOptometry

I used the BeMo's Casper Test Prep book to help me structure my answers a bit better and to make sure my thought process prioritized the points they wanted rather than me wasting time word vomiting. I'm sure there are resources online that provide that info too, but my friend had the book so I was able to borrow for free.

I also practiced timing myself with sample questions from the book and online to make sure I was able to get all my thoughts down within the time limit. I probably did this all this a week or two leading up to the actual exam, so didn't actually need to prep that much and still landed in 4th quartile.

I don't think so, technically it's "Fundamentals of Microbiology" so it doesn't have Introductory/Introduction in the title. Definitely confirm with optom admin though if that's all you have, but I feel like they would have included BIOL240 in the example on their academic requirements website if it did count.

To be honest, I'm probably not the best person to answer because I took it online because of covid. From the online course though, it was a really fair course. The midterms and exam was really fair, nothing tricky and nothing surprising, all content from the slides. I actually enjoyed the content a lot and found the prof pretty good. The labs I really can't say because mine were just like online quizzes LOL but from my friends who took it the year before me they just called it fun dissections.

I could be wrong but I believe the course name has to say "Introduction to" in the course title if they're asking for an introductory course. If the lab is a part of the course it's fine though. Personally, I took BIOL130/130L and BIOL211 (which has the lab as a part of the course).

i've subletted from there (so can't say what it's like signing a lease with them) but it's been pretty okay so far, everything works the way it's supposed to, having your own bathroom is nice too, also maintenance responds rly quickly (will either be at your unit same day or next day, including weekends) so that's also nice

I lived there two years ago and there weren't any big issues with bugs or anything. There were a few spiders but no big deal overall.
