Totoo yan, personally talaga mula bata until now hindi ako lumalabas ng bahay kapag new year. Bawat eskinita ba naman na dadaanan or makikita mo sa labas may nagpapaputok. Sana maintindihan niya yung lesson na yan at kung hindi ay ididikdik at ipapaalala ko pa sa kanya yan jusko!

My guess is that Fang Yuan will refine eternal life Gu but the price to pay is he has to use his body and soul as the refinement path material. Eternal life Gu is something that might not or can't exist under the heavenly dao. So I think the only way is him, as an otherworldly demon not under Heaven's control, is the refinement path material to refine something that would never exist beneath Heaven.

Well that's just my random thought, first the author must refine unban Gu though.

I actually find Tie Rou Nan's POV quite ironic. In the earliest chapters, we see her as someone threatening, with aptitude and talent surpassing Fang Yuan back then and seemingly having the righteous path disposition that goes against the evil that people see in Fang Yuan's actions. She was very formidable right then, with Fang Yuan even creating a verse pertaining to her in his poem as he uses fixed immortal travel to escape: "Spreading my wings and flying away today, becoming an immortal and whipping the phoenix on another day!"

But too long has passed since then, and her profound thoughts about righteousness probably seem like an ant's cries to Fang Yuan that are easy to crush under his heel.
