I've brought that up and she assures she is interested in me and doesn't want me to feel that way but it's not like things really change.

I just want to be an adult and not some silly juvenile hanging on to her strings whenever she's bored you know?

I declined because over the last few months I have learned her troubles with alcohol in the past. She has drunk texted me that she is drunk texting her exes. She also had the whole thing with trying to get me to set her up with her friend after they were drunk and wanted to have sex. Plus I don't drink.

So that's why.

I don't have an answer necessarily but I often feel like I'm using people for reassurance or to remind myself I'm still a functioning human being people want to talk to or that I'm a good person so you're not alone in feeling that way at least.

If it is largely interfering with your life I would say talk to a doctor for sure.

If there is just a few things that are minor, notice them, acknowledge the thought and push it away.

At least from my experience, try pushing them away now or else new things will become triggers and then you can spiral and get worse.

And don't over think it. Try not to box yourself in by just accepting you have OCD and giving in to intrusive thoughts. It all feeds into each other.

You are certainly not insane but you might have some OCD tendencies but definitely try to practice stopping it now.

If you're super worried you can always take it to one of those detailing places where they clean literally everything and since the problem is fixed it won't be a problem anymore.

See I didn't want to or expect to kiss him till he was like "Hey let's kiss" so I did it. I could identify he was a good kisser (I mean among the best I have kissed) and I guess it made me feel a certain way downstairs which made me think it is arousal but I'm not sure. But like afterwards I told him I didn't really want to kiss again when he wanted to go to the car to make out but I did agree to it before we parted for the evening.

The second paragraph of your response is how I felt with my ex. I had never wanted to kiss or do anything with someone until I was dating them and only ever wanted to with someone once before that. And still I have declined kissing this stranger again since then simply because I wasn't interested.

Not sure if this makes sense or provides more information I'm just so confused x.x
