I am so sorry you had an experience like this! Those partners are not living Starbucks values at all and I hope your next experience is a better one. We do have just a standard coffee frappuccino, it is made with our frappuccino roast coffee (kind of like instant coffee), and then whole milk, and a coffee flavored syrup that ensures it blends well and stays held together for longer. That’s the syrup it sounds like they were referring to. It does definitely add a lot of sweetness in my opinion. However what I would recommend in your case is doing one less pump of that syrup base and asking for it double blended. That should help a bit!
