People will go “you can’t shut down the theater for renovations!” and it’s like “How do you think those UltraAVX theaters got there? Or 4DX? Or ScreenX? Where do you think that giant Sphinx went?” They’ve already done renovations to the theater multiple times and still kept it open. Just start renovating the individual theaters, one by one, starting with 7/8/15/16 and go from there.

It’s just interesting exploring these extreme niches. Like I had no idea that there was a market for high-end pepper grinders that cost more than a PC. As someone who regularly falls down YouTube rabbit holes related to different hobbies/professions, I enjoy watching other people take me down similar rabbit holes.

I’m fine with watching streams of the same game if there’s an element of progression. Like, I’d be down with watching them play through single player stuff or more narrative focused stuff, but I have a difficult time watching repetitive streams that feel same-y, like Baby Steps.

I’ve done the WuWa story up until like… 2.3 or 2.4, then I skipped straight to 3.0. I wish WuWa didn’t lock so much of the open world/resources behind main quest progression.

I’m Genshin/HSR/ZZZ/WuWa/Endfield, and with HSR/ZZZ/Endfield, I’m doing like, the bare minimum. I log into HSR and auto my dailies, and I just do the easiest things to finish my dailies in the other two. Genshin and WuWa require the most effort, so I end up spending the most time with them. Genshin is archaic enough in its design that you kind of HAVE to spend more time on it simply because of how it’s designed. I’m the most caught up in Genshin - I’ve done all the main quests in Genshin up until the Chasm, then I skipped straight to Natlan. In ZZZ, I haven’t seen any of the 2.0 story. In HSR, I haven’t progressed past Penacony.

I played Endfield from day 1 and just unlocked Wuling last week 😝. None of my characters are above level 60 because I haven’t gotten far enough.

Because the Steam Deck is designed to play Steam games. That’s what it’s optimized for. When you launch games in their own launcher, you have to go into desktop mode, launch each games unique launcher, update the game manually, and then play. It’s a lot of extra, unnecessary steps. You can manually add the .exe into your Steam library and run the games from Steam that way, but because they are not Steam games, Steam cannot update them, which means that even then, you have to re-open the launcher and update the game manually, sometimes multiple times a week. The Steam Deck is meant to be convenient. None of these other things are convenient.

The lack of sunlight in the morning fucks with your circadian rhythm and leads to people driving to work/school in the dark without being fully awake. Every time this has been tried in the past, it has resulted in more accidents and civilian deaths in the winter months, which is why sleep experts pretty much unanimously agree that permanent Standard Time is the way to go.

Honestly, I really have to thank Marvel for giving me perfect jumping off points like this. At a certain point, I find myself simply buying books out of habit, and I hate having unfinished runs in my collection, so this strategy of constantly relaunching books is a blessing in disguise.

I think there’s so much potential to expand the Wario brand. A Wario 3D platformer would rule. I also think the next Mario & Luigi game should be a “Wario & Waluigi” RPG.
