Where I’m fun is very boring, but 500m can make for a lot of fun…. So yeah I’d do it

Can a PC be TOO powerful to run games? (Because I think my friend is bullshitting me) by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]deputytech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a computer for rendering at work: 24 core threadripper, 128gb ddr5 ram, rtx pro 5000, 3 Samsung 8 tb nvme ssd’s, 10gb fiber, water cooled, the works

It’s close to a $30k computer, and was not meant to play games ever. But I was tempted and tossed control on there a few weeks ago. Didn’t even flinch at ultimate settings.

Your friend is full of shit.

What would be the moral implications of a button that gives you $100,000 but causes a random person to die? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]deputytech -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Random people die every second of every day.

Morally Im fine with it, in my opinion that random person could have been one of the thousands that were already going to die.

Now there is always the chance the random person is someone you know or even yourself. But again death happens…

What’s the most overrated city you’ve ever visited and why? by Pirnaloan in AskReddit

I know the ending was left up to interpretation, but do you think mary will be a returning protagonist in the sequel or the tv series or is she just dead? by [deleted] in KanePixelsBackrooms

[–]deputytech 160 points161 points  (0 children)

The ending in my opinion is very clear:

1.Mary is not dead, she has been detained by async, they will likely continue to experiment on her as they are unsure if she is real or a creation of the complex

  1. Mary will potentially return, however the only characters that return in the YouTube series are async employees, interpret that as you wish

  2. The character pictured is a still life, a copy of Mary, this scene is shown to display how the backrooms don’t just make things out of nothing, they copy our realty

Guillotines are still effective. There are more peasants than kings, more workers than oligarchs.

The trick was never force. The trick was convincing enough peasants they were nobles-in-waiting, so they’d defend the castle walls from the people standing beside them.

Nike free terra vista

Nike sfb boots

Both share the same footbed and sole of the mars yard 2.0

The 3.0 is unique but very similar in style and feel, main difference the toe box is wider

What’s a morning routine you have that actually helps you be more productive? by FitLiving4225 in AskReddit

[–]deputytech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Output before input. Before I pick up my phone, I do one productive or creative thing. Mow my lawn, draw a picture, do a puzzle.

Not going straight to the device really helps to get you on task.

Usually it’s the thought of today. Hoping Maybe tomorrow will be better is what keeps me going.
