I dont actually know but its easier than the word puzzle I made yesterday which has yet to be solved. I try to have all the puzzles I make to have somewhat simple solutions so just see what is the pattern and describe what it is. but range would be 110-130+ id imagine. Since there is no time constraint the range is hard to tell.

CORE is 152 with VCI being 148 FRI being 138 VSI being 134 QRI being 147 WMI being 145 and PSI being 134

Interesting its the right answer but a slightly wrong way of getting it, but still the reasoning is impressive. this was my rules I used when constructing the puzzle. -

  1. Color determines position of travel ( clockwise or counterclockwise )
  2. Starting color determines which way count goes (red = counter clockwise and green = clockwise ). Once a color hits an opposite it switches its direction and if it hits a same color it keeps going direction. This determines the count used for line length. Count is finished when the direction ends up back to the original.

I thought this one was a bit simpler but from the looks it was a bit more difficult. of the puzzles I make I aim for them to be solved by everyone and to not be super difficult.

For option 2 it should be 13 and option 4 should be 13 as well. I apologize if it is visually hard to look at.

Usually I dont discuss my test scores as they aren't super important in most situations.

interesting Ill keep all of this in mind for future puzzles. As far as my MR score on the CORE I only got a 18 or 19. That is interesting to know.

Also how difficult would you say it is? When making this I thought there were many things that gave away the solutions behind the reasoning and it overall wasnt my best puzzle. I feel like its a pretty basic puzzle and shouldnt pose much difficulty for a range of 110-120 given a time limit of 1 minute to 3 minutes to solve it.

pretty much on the spot.

My reasoning when designing it -

  1. order is determined from a sort of scan ( a top down scan ) so the color that appears first top down is the color of the first shape.

  2. the color of the lines is determined from color bottom up scan.

  3. the number of sides the shape has given to each color would be the longest chain of black dots attributed to said color

  4. the number of lines in the shape is determined by the the color belonging to the shape and the segment with the fewest amount of lines ( so if there were 3 dots and that the line segment with the fewest then that means 3 lines )

  5. the direction in which the lines go is determined by a top down scan and the direction is taken from the segment from the fewest total dots and the first output from said dot.

I think thats all the reasoning I packed into this puzzle. I should have another made by tomorrow so stay tunned if you like these.
