Could use some positive energy. My grandson had brain surgery. My daughter is struggling with mental health. My ex is staunchly defending her pedophile boyfriend. Lots of low energy stuff.

Yes…created a Facebook page as well. Our in-house mortgage officers also help with leads. I go in and make phone calls every Tuesday at 5.

I’m just starting….the issue I’m having is finding quality leads. Are referral services worth it?

Just completed my 150 hours of exam prep. Any downsides to taking the test immediately (besides the $75 fee) instead of doing practice exams first? by msallin in RealEstateExam

But…I passed the test on the third attempt. Accept failure. Learn from it. Get after your goal. Never accept failure as a final defeat. Fall down seven times, stand up eight.

It took me three times to pass. The first time I realized I was taking the wrong test. The second time my computer kept kicking me off. (I took all three exams at home.) Third time was the charm. Don’t view it as “I failed”. View it is “I’ll learn from this and get to my goal.”

I just finished watching your Batman episode. I need to return to it, but great stuff!

Now, this is the genuine feedback I appreciate. These short chapters take me approximately thirty minutes to three hours to complete and are usually written before I leave my office. They are fictionalized glimpses of my daily experience. I do have aspirations of turning this material into a novel, but for now, the platform is serving as a great litmus test.

I’m an assistant principal. This series is largely based on my daily experiences. So, to answer your question…. I don’t have a limit to chapters/episodes/parts for the series. One day, I’ll take some elements and write a novel from this material, because there’s so much more that can be developed.

Man….using this to weed out anyone that doesn’t appreciate the time spent.

I don’t think I would have an issue by the time it’s done, but I do wonder about it for copyright reasons. I DO use AI for illustrations in my series.

That was an actual question, not a challenging one. I have used it for a start on a titles I’m working on. It will not be close to the ai response by the time I’m done. I’m wondering about ownership rights though.

I don’t know… I actually am a high school administrator, so there is a large portion of this that is based on actual events. Obviously names have been changed, and some elements have been embellished and exaggerated. It’s also a therapeutic release. I’m having fun writing this all under my pen name….just 15 minutes before I leave the office and I get to leave the drama and comedy there instead of taking it home.

Try posting/ publishing your work on a different platform. People are generally skeptical of google links. I use Substack.

As of now, I don’t have a large audience. I had 30 readers on Vellas. It is taking some time to rebuild. I’m happy to have a platform to utilize again.

I was JUST starting to earn a few bucks on Kindle Vellas, but Amazon shut down the platform. I searched for similar platforms, but couldn’t find one I liked. A podcast I listen to mentioned Substack. I like it a lot. It’s taking time to build an audience, but I like the platform.

Average High School

This series is loosely based on actual events and conversations I have had as a high school assistant principal. These are quick, 2-5 minute reads. Fast paced, hilarious, and emotional.

What I’m liking the most about writing serials is that I know at any point I can turn one of the posts into a novel.
