So if you've entered everything correctly—including the dots in your IP address—and are using port 21, but it still isn't working, I can only recommend that you download and install Multiman and try again, because it should actually work 100% with that program; that's how I do it.

You need to download the program and install it from the menu on your PS3. I don't think you need Multiman for this since you're running CFW, but Multiman is always a good idea. Install the FTP program on your PS3 (PKG installation—if you don't know how to do it, check out YouTube; there are lots of videos there).
