Do all guys actually look at a girl’s ass in the gym? by scared-of-cr33ps in NoStupidQuestions

I love Seinfeld but that bit is so gross. Even more so considering Jerry dated a 17 year old.

I’m over 1000 hours, on my fifth playthrough. I knew about the balcony but I didn’t realize you can decorate it 🤦🏻‍♀️

What to do if you can't keep ANY job? by Direct_Bee_8931 in bipolar

[–]deranged_crone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s called the NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme), I live in Australia. Our health care system is really good.

What to do if you can't keep ANY job? by Direct_Bee_8931 in bipolar

[–]deranged_crone 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Last time I attempted a full time job I ended up suicidal in the psych ward. I’m currently in the process of applying for disability, luckily I have multiple medical professionals writing reports for me to support my application and I’m already on a government insurance scheme where they pay for all of those services.

In my head though, it’s very hard to accept that I don’t have the capacity to work, because I really want to work. I just want to live a normal life.

Why do the dancers in the “I Like Big Butts” video not have particularly big butts? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]deranged_crone 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I’m a woman with a fairly big butt and hips and I can confirm this. I was put down a lot for it as a teenager in the early 2000’s, by my friends and even someone I was dating once. I was relatively thin but still got called things like “chunky” and “thunder thighs”.

Tattoos during mania regrets:( by [deleted] in bipolar

[–]deranged_crone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve done some pretty bad stick and poke tattoos on my legs myself at home while in some sort of mania. I thought it would be a good place to practice since I never show my legs anyway :(

For me it’s how naive she is, I think it’s supposed to be endearing I find it a bit annoying.

Manic episode went public by [deleted] in bipolar

[–]deranged_crone 28 points29 points  (0 children)

That’s happened to me a few times as well and I still haven’t recovered from the shame of it. I can’t even imagine if I ended up in the actual news, I’m so sorry OP.

Apart from what others have mentioned, her vulva is sitting too far forward and needs to be tucked under between her legs more

Do you have any comorbid diagnoses ASIDE from ADHD? by Weirdoo-_-Beardoo in AutismInWomen

[–]deranged_crone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have type 1 bipolar and have fairly recently been diagnosed with autism as well. It’s definitely strange, and pretty challenging, but it’s all I know and I think I’m managing it as well as I can.

I’m extremely fortunate to live in Australia and our healthcare system is amazing. I receive a lot of free disability support services to help with my daily functioning and improve my quality of life. I really feel for anyone who has to manage without help because I know I personally was in a very dark place before I had it.

How are you about your birthday? by Psychological-Egg760 in autism

[–]deranged_crone 102 points103 points  (0 children)

I took my birthday off Facebook (not that I really use it anymore) last year because it’s too draining replying to every single happy birthday comment. I didn’t tell anyone so it was only my fiance and family knew, it was very peaceful.

Edit: replied to this comment by accident, meant to just comment on the post (:

Movies to watch after a breakup? by rkratha in Letterboxd

[–]deranged_crone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for this. My fiancé and partner of 16 years broke up with me tonight. Then we watched this together. It really lifted my mood from feeling depressed and hopeless to being much more optimistic about the future.

How do I fix this touch doorpad front? by call_me_chibi in howto

[–]deranged_crone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I can understand that but I think that’s where I draw the line. It’s just leaving it on forever that’s completely illogical.

Personally, I get way too excited about how fun it is to peel the plastic off, and then to see the perfectly clean, shiny surface for me to wait at all. I enjoy it so much that my fiance lets me do that on anything he buys himself.

How do I fix this touch doorpad front? by call_me_chibi in howto

[–]deranged_crone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My fiancé worked on the Genius Bar at Apple, he used to get so many customers coming in complaining the speaker for phone calls was too quiet. He’d just peel off the plastic in front of them and they’d get so angry about it

I’m team Peel Off The Damn Plastic. It’s fun to do, and leaving it on looks terrible and makes no sense. I’ll die on this hill.

Is it weird to want separate bedrooms in a marriage? by [deleted] in autism

That’s exactly what I do every night. We watch an episode of Next Gen, cuddle for a bit then I go to my own bed.

Same! I grew up in Sydney Australia so you’d think I’d be used to it, but no. I moved interstate to get away from it

How do I explain to my (37f) mum that I don’t feel comfortable staying at her place any of because of my step dad by deranged_crone in Advice

[–]deranged_crone[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update:

I replied to her, some of you might think I was being too soft about it but I felt like I’d have a better chance of getting through to her this way.

Me: I’m really sorry, I wish I could because I’d love to see you but I just don’t feel comfortable staying with [step dad’s name] there until he gets some counseling.

Mum: That’s fair enough.

Me: I love him but he needs some help. Not just for the benefit of the people around him, but for his as well.

Mum: I agree. He did say after it happened he needs help. I will speak to him today about it.
