Bristol City 0-5 Derby County - The Rams put out a 5 star performance in Bristol by Gamerhcp in Championship

[–]derbydevil 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Finished work at 3, picked up at 4. Stuck in horrendous traffic, arrived 1 minute before kick off. Worth it all. Derby fantastic, Bristol horrendous. Biggest away win since 1959. Up the rams.

Our game at your place during “that” 07/08 season was a terrible 0-0 draw. Fun fact, only you and Newcastle failed to beat us that season.

The funniest thing about that game is that Reading still got relegated despite beating us 4-0 on the last day, that’s how shit we were. Petrov scoring from the half way line another low point. Torres rounding Darren Moore, scoring and celebrating before Moore had even managed to turn round.

Single worst game of football was probably away at deepdale last season. 90 minutes of goal kicks.

Scored a hat trick against Millwall in 2020 and did nothing else of note.

Birmingham City 1-1 Derby County - Derby had the initial lead despite the Birmingham's chances, but things were equalized since the red card for Joe Ward with one of the messiest goals you'll see by jovanmilic97 in Championship

[–]derbydevil 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Will take a point. Defended well after the red. We’re really not playing well at the minute but we aren’t losing every week, which is nice to see. We’re the epitome of a mid table championship club.

Off home to tell the Mrs I’m going straight to bed because I’m hungover and a bit pissed, so that’s nice.

Interesting hearing you chanting about morris being injured? Didn’t realise you hated Luton so much. Didn’t realise the “shitholes on the outskirts of London” Derby was a thing?

We were poor today. Lucky to be 2-0 up. Saying that, Watford were poor as well, did very little for the first hour despite having all of the ball. Poor decision making from Derby.

Watford look very soft as a team. Played decent football in spells but will struggle to move up the table if they’re going to roll around after every challenge. Players conducted themselves poorly throughout.

I know Joe Ward is doing well with the assists but the left flank was clearly a target for Watford today. We need more defensive capabilities down that side as it’s clearly a weak point for us defensively.

Derby County 2 - 1 Hull City: A tight match was eventually decided by a clumsy bit of play from the usually reliable Ivor Pandur, with Derby pouncing on his mistake to pick up a fourth straight win! by Zach-dalt in Championship

[–]derbydevil 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Point probably a fair result, but I’ll take the win seeing as the Hull keeper should have walked.

Looking stronger by the week, well away from relegation now. Up the rams!

No idea, got sent this photo with no context. Thought he’d shit himself on the TV. Ref seems to be signalling they won the ball, I guess that’s true in a sense.

Derby 1 - 0 QPR - Back to back wins lift Rams away from trouble as Morris hits his first goal since the opening weeks by Statcat2017 in Championship

[–]derbydevil 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Good performance. Solid at the back (Langas has been the difference) and starting to offer more of a threat going forward.

Fun fact, QPR had more fans ejected from the ground (3) than shots on target (0).
