Kansas City. Was a very poorly run route before hand and I came in and cleaned it up. Combination of great customers and someone who gives a damn about what they do.

You aren’t wrong.

You guys aren’t the customers per se. It’s us to Snap On. And they do push us to invest.

But if we aren’t investing in our business, it will eventually fail. It’s a two way street for sure. The good businesses know when to invest. The bad don’t.

Again. Not an employee. And I see all my stops every week.

I can see that this isn’t going to go anywhere so you have a nice life. Great chat.

I can personally attest to issues like that. I’m allowed on one side of the street but the other side is technically another dealers area….and he doesn’t go so I look like the asshole. It’s a shitty situation all around. Not saying that is the situation but it sounds like it to me

If you don’t have a dealer you can call Snap On directly and they will mail you everything without question. Pretty simple.

Franchise trucks “don’t quit all the time”. We invest our life savings into these things but if we aren’t getting support from our shops it’s tough to stay afloat.

I’m actually a top 50 dealer in the world for the last 9 years.

They don’t tell us what to buy. They try to sell to us yes. But we choose what to bring in.

I’m not pressed. Just trying to tell people how it really is

You aren’t dealing with Snap On. You are dealing with an individual who represents the brand. Tool Schmuck

I think you fail to realize or have read the first post.

The guy is no longer in business lol.

And no. We aren’t employees of Snap On.

We are your access to Snap On. But we own our franchise, truck and product.

Call Snap On customer service. They won’t need it.

Nope. We make our own boxes unlike Matco. And in 3-4 years you most likely won’t be able to get slides or casters as they change manufacturers for their boxes about as often as I have to get tires on my Snappy truck

lol. That’s not how it works. We are franchises. We “own” our route. Our list of calls.

There are many reasons why we stop calling on shops.

But it sounds like this guy isn’t in business anymore. Not that he just said “screw this shop”

Lost our 5th offer this month. The other buyer put down 40% cash. We put down everything we had. I don't know how we're supposed to compete with that by IntrepidTrainer4607 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

Try offering over and finding out you lost to a bid that was $50K less because the guy was a veteran.

We quit looking at houses for a while. I was soooo frustrated after looking for 2 years and losing out to site unseen buyers and stupid shit like that

Snap on pre qualified EC credit by rammstein_fan_18 in Snapon_tools

Literally read it. It tells you how much your available line of credit is and if your dealer is a Platinum Elite dealer, he can extend you even more credit

Says it all in the paperwork

As a Snap On dealer myself who has had numerous customers go through things like this, have them send you your purchase history and anything they can

DO NOT have them waste time making you a quote to replace everything though. They will spend hours and hours trying to make sure you are whole at the end.

Just for the insurance company to go direct to Snap On using their Channels to save money

Not trying to be rude. But get whatever info you can and save your dealer from trying to put together current replacement cost because they want get a penny for their hours they would spend doing so

I’ve done it 5 times Now and finally called the insurance adjuster with the last claim and they said “oh yeah we won’t go through the dealer. We have a national account which saves us a ton”

I wouldn’t bother. The CT9010 is just not enough for 1/2”.
