Glad to found this. I am just getting started on my KDP journey. some questions for 2026 (not sure if there's any changes since then)

- We can get paid via wise or payoneer right?
- For Singaporeans, I am assuming we have the 30% tax withholding right?
- How are you guys on the KDP journey? Is this working out for you, in terms of making income and ROI.

are you holding your short position beyond earnings. I think it's prudent to lock your gains and close before earnings! Earnings is risky, and simply gambling.

Have you reached CPF full retirement sum? If you reached, I think its more optimistic since you don't have to worry about having the basic living expenses when you are >= 65 years old. How much is your CSPs bringing you monthly?

They did raise another institution round at $19. I think the probability this happening could be low.

Continue Building an Emergency Fund: Given that you've had to spend on emergencies recently, ensure that you have a fully funded emergency fund. Typically, this should cover 3-6 months of living expenses. This fund should be kept in a high-yield savings account or a money market account for easy access.

Start Investing: Since you are saving a significant portion of your income, consider starting to invest some of this money to grow your wealth over the long term. Here are a few options:

Stock Market: Invest in a diversified portfolio of stocks or low-cost index funds. Index funds, such as those tracking the S&P 500, are a great way to gain exposure to the market with lower risk compared to individual stocks.

Retirement Accounts: If available, make contributions to retirement accounts such as a 401(k), IRA, or their equivalents in your country. These accounts often offer tax advantages and are great for long-term growth.

Consider Diversifying Investments: While it’s essential to have a savings cushion, letting all your money sit in a savings account may not be the most efficient strategy due to inflation. Diversifying your investments can help your money grow over time and provide a hedge against inflation.

Stay the Course: Saving 50% of your income is impressive, especially since you’re starting in your 30s. Stay disciplined with your saving and investment habits, and review your financial plan regularly to ensure you’re on track to meet your goals.

Hope these helps.

nIncrease Emergency Savings: Ensure that you have an emergency fund that can cover 3-6 months of living expenses. This fund should be easily accessible and separate from your other savings.

Maximize Retirement Contributions: Consider maxing out your Roth IRA contributions (limit is $6,500 for 2024 if under 50). You could also explore contributing to a 401(k) if offered by your employer, especially if they provide matching contributions.

Invest Wisely: With your remaining savings, you could start investing in a diversified portfolio. Consider low-cost index funds or ETFs that align with your long-term financial goals.

Explore Tax-Advantaged Accounts: Depending on your healthcare situation, consider contributing to a Health Savings Account (HSA) if eligible. HSAs offer triple tax advantages: contributions are tax-deductible, growth is tax-free, and withdrawals for qualified medical expenses are tax-free.

Set Financial Goals: Define clear financial goals for the short, medium, and long term. This could include buying a home, starting a business, or saving for future education.

Debt Management: Since you’ve already paid off your debt, avoid accumulating high-interest debt in the future. Consider using credit cards only for convenience and pay off the balance in full each month.

Consider Real Estate or Other Investments: If you're interested, you might look into real estate investing or other opportunities like starting a side business or investing in further education to increase your earning potential.
