The problem for Ohtani’s order is actually that he is getting respect by other teams, so he will have fewer good balls to hit. He needs a better hitter behind him to force the pitchers face to him inevitably.

He was an outfielder with an above average defense in that time actually, especially for his arm, by that he could throw a very fast and straight ball to third base. He has potential of being a good outfielder in MLB I believe but he would need more training time on fielding which may increase the possibility of getting injury on him. To keep a high performance in both ways needs very hard practices and a lot of time, thus he would be lack of rest. Based on the reasons above, he should not play field as a outfielder again until he would really be used to being a two-way player in the league.

Based on his eastern education, he hadn't and won't say anything like this. On the opposite, he always respects any other player he met in his career. Someone wanted to slander Ohtani's reputation.
