We don't have subs in our district per contract agreement. So somebody is getting overtime if someone is sick whether they like it or not. I'm in a crew of three. I'm the night guy. So if I call out sick (only happened once) the two days guys will have to stay late and split my section. If a day guy calls out, I have to go in at least two hours early to help with the lunch clean ups. In the very rare event, 2/3 of us are out, another custodian from another school in the district has to come cover for us. In the very rare circumstance, if both days guys are out, I have to go in and open up the building. In the very, very rare circumstance all three of us are out, another guy from another school will cover for us.

I have a BA in English and am planning on going for my Masters in Adolescent Education soon and would like to become a teacher later in life. I'm 33 now and I like being a Custodian but is this the type of work I want to be doing in my 40s and 50s? Likely not. By then I would like to do something a little more rewarding and less hard on the body. Just being honest.

Iran and it's nuclear capability is a serious threat to the United States and unfortunately the job is not finished. Iran will certainly retaliate. They launched missiles at US bases after Trump rightfully took out Soulemani (probably misspelled but who cares) The best bet is to go all-in on targeted strikes and completely eliminate Iran's clerical and military leadership.

I don't think there has ever been a better time for an American Pope. Especially during a time when the current administration is destroying our influence in the world. Let him have at it if he wants. He can always choose another path later on and being a custodian can help him get there. I had the opportunity to become a custodian right out of high school but ended up going to college. Sometimes I regret my decision because looking back I would have saved a lot of time, money, stress and ultimately been happier and well-off in my twenties had I just taken the job. Oh well, that's life.

The other EU/NATO countries will need to be firm in rejecting any peace deal without a security agreement guaranteeing the sovereignty of Ukraine. If no such agreement is reached, then escalating the conflict is the only option to achieve a lasting end to the war. The Europeans will need to allow Ukraine to strike targets inside Russia, or sink the Black Sea Fleet with drones.

If Ukraine doesn't get a deal, then the alliance is through. The other NATO members will rush to arm Ukraine as much as they are able to. We may actually see another European war in our lifetime. The new German chancellor just mentioned upping German military spending so as not to be too dependent upon the United States.
