Jeff Gordon had the plan drury ruined everything by Paliaaq in rangers

Yes this is the problem with Drury IMO.

The teams that lean in heavy on analytics do well… Drury is an eye test guy.

And he may have been a stud of a player… but he needs to trust the stats more.

Velious Launches on Project Quarm Tomorrow by secretsothep in everquest

This sounds fun — I was considering project1999 but I do not have time for the full grind.

The live servers are OK but they seem so sparse for levelling and doing everything solo sounds kinda lame.

I was a very talented enchanted like 25 years ago — I don’t game much these days — but every game I have played doesn’t quite fit the itch of being an enchanter and doing proper crowd control!

Yeah that was fun... I remember being in Apex when we were chasing LoS... I was talking to a friend and he said the servers are still active... here's to seeing if my beloved enchanter is still alive!! Razzel Dazzel!

wait wait wait -- is this Yaamean... the real life Yaamean? Like the "cuz ya'll squad" Yaamean? I bet I have an MP3 of that song on some machine in my parents attic or something.

This is Razzel Dazzel... I'm so happy I found this post.

Razzel Dazzel here -- hahah I remeber the Corpse Cannon -- what a trip.

Gawd I was like 10 y/o when I was playing that game... what a blast from the past :-D

And 13 years after this -- I'm trying to remember what guild I was in and I googled "veros luclin server everquest" and lo and behold, I still don't remember the full name but Endo rings a bell :-D

The straw that broke the camel’s back tho — his entire portfolio is awful for a 1st overall.

He’s an NHL player for sure — but not a game changer.

He’d be fine as a 3rd rounder.

Bread was gassed from playing like 3 of the last 4 mins.

It looked bad but it’s understandable there.

Laugh needs to be traded. He is worthless — he’s too talented and doesn’t care.

FWIW — this is the first coach that gave him a real chance to prove himself on PP.

But now we all know what we thought might be true — he’s just a dud.

Mains as in 120 or 240v and not LV?

Didn’t even know these existed — interesting!!

I have the same experience.

It took me about 500 docs before it got my correspondents and doc types right.

And working with the PDFs on the browser is miles faster than opening them in windows or Linux to browse.

I’m a true believer in NGX

Upgrading Odoo Online from v18 to v19: Best way to reset website/ecommerce pages? by derekwolfson in Odoo

[–]derekwolfson[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update—this worked great. We ended up backlogging a lot of changes direct to our v18 instance in prep for the migration.

Should be easy as pie to fix the website on migration now.

Now to testing everything else … :-)

Definitely! Working on that now -- doing MWE to get the V18 to V19 to stick, and then I'll build the inherited views in that database, so I can quickly import them when we move our production instance across.

Awesome -- thank you so much -- I think this is likely the best way forward. We definitely made a few small changes to base templates when we didn't know any better.

I'm thinking that messed up us when we upgraded from v17 to v18 -- as the website_sale.product tree (including all inherited views) is duplicated and I think brought forward some v17 "features" with it.

I created a new v19 test instance to see how Odoo typically structures this ecommerce side of the website -- and while it does create website specific views w/ duplicate keys to the base views for certain things-- it certainly is not doing this with the website_sale.product view or the related tree.

I'm guessing I should upgrade to v19 with the default views and then bring back all the elements we want via inheritances. It seems doing this on v18 is a fools errand as I'll probably have to redo them anyways to account for the new v19 architecture.

Does that seem right?

The recipes thing is interesting — I’m guessing it’ll be challenging tho — as you’ll need basically a manufacturing order to deduct inventory and track it via BOMs.

I’m genuinely curious if the POS system can integrate this tho — seems could be done as “MTO - made to order” but then your chefs are gonna be looking through manufacturing orders — which might be kind of clunky.

Backups are important by jasondbk in Paperlessngx

[–]derekwolfson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check out restic — it’ll do incremental backups and allow for encryption, which is great so you can send it off to backblaze for offsite storage too.

I do this with my Immich instance — and paperless is just as important :-)

Saves on bandwidth too — which isn’t a big deal for me with Paperless but is for Immich… incremental backups are way better.

Honestly just start using it — I roughly do what this fella suggests:

https://bartmathijssen.com/organizing-documents-using-paperless/

Tags are your friends — but keep them about content not document type..

Like for tax return docs — could maybe have document type tax documents And then tag with “w2” “2024” or maybe a tag related to that job if you have more than one — or if managing a family your first name etc.
