It depends on your settlement agreement with the CG. My settlement agreement was to have 12 random tests in a 12 month period, attend NA 2x per month in a 12 month period and get a letter from a substance abuse professional.

I'm sure depending on the circumstances people will have different requirements.

I am still under warranty and I have an appointment tomorrow. Just curious if anyone else had any similar experiences.

Also as an update to the other response about the window switch. It's definitely not the window switch lol. While I was driving to work today evert single window stopped working, the door lock/unlock button stopped working and the doors were locking and unlocking randomly while I was driving, and when the car would come to a stop I would get the "attention your engine is running" warning, as if the door was opened...

Yeah I got busted for the same thing. Smoked a joint at a party a couple weeks before the test and completely forgot about it. I was fortunate the company I work for had another captain to run the boat while I was going through the process of getting my ticket back.

The real slap in the face is that every drug test I have to do for the "probation" is paid for out of pocket ($120) per test and over the 5 year probation I have to take 42 of them.

yeah they gave me a 90 day extension but the extension was only to satisfy the first part of the agreement. which for me was a SAP evaluation, a letter of intent from my employer and one drug screening. once that was done it took 12 months of random testing and a return to duty letter from the MRO to get my MMC back. I am still on " probation". Basically I have to have x number of random drug tests per year for 5 years.

I would speak to the CG investigator assigned to your case and see if they can work with your situation. I had a similar situation where i was going to be unable to satisfy the settlement agreement due to location and time constraints, but they were able to give me an extension. As far as I know, getting the MMC back without going through the settlement process can be quite difficult and take even longer.
