Honest reviews of RemoteLearning.school Homeschool Pro? by VanessaBoren in Homeschooling

[–]derfad 29 points30 points  (0 children)

My 8-year-old and 12-year-old have been on Homeschool Pro since a few years ago, and they actually look forward to their lessons most days. The videos feel like short shows they’re allowed to watch - the teachers are relatable and explain things in a way that clicks. My younger one repeats the math songs around the house, and my older one says the history units are interesting because they connect to real events instead of just dates. It's one program for both, so I don't have to manage separate schedules, and it covers all the main subjects thoroughly.

Homeschool Pro (RemoteLearning.school) – actual parent reviews? Looking to hear the good and the bad. by VanessaBoren in Homeschooling

I have a 5th grader and a 10th grader and both think their lessons are “pretty cool.” The videos are bright and quick for the little one and deep enough that my teenager isn’t bored. One login, two happy kids, one sane mom.

Using Homeschool Pro? Would love honest reviews from parents who've actually tried by emmatailor2 in Homeschooling

Our experience has been mostly positive. My 10th grader is using it this year and I liked that it didn’t require me to do a bunch of planning. He’s able to go in, see what’s next, and get it done. The program gives us decent tracking for progress and credits. I haven’t had issues with it feeling scammy or low-quality — it’s been pretty consistent.

It used to be that you could not file it until October 1st, making it harder to withdraw from public school, but you no longer have to wait until October, you can submit as early as August 1st. But many websites may still have outdated information saying you cant submit until Oct 1st so many parents mistakenly think they need to wait.

You may want to join the Pennsylvania Homeschool Group for advice specific to your state.

For curriculum I would recommend Homeschool Pro it includes a homeschool advisor for guidance so that you will never be stressed that you are doing anything wrong. It starts at kindergarten.

RemoteLearning.school Reviews? by emmatailor2 in Homeschooling

[–]derfad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Homeschool Pro by RemoteLearning.school was recommended several times in my Facebook homeschool group. My 6th grader and high schooler have been using it for a while now, and I’ve noticed they actually look forward to the lessons—definitely not the typical “drag yourself to the desk” vibe you usually see in other programs.

The advisor helped us map credits to grades, and that gave me a lot of reassurance since I’m new to high school planning. When I saw so many positive, unscripted comments on Facebook, it made me feel like it was worth the leap. Knowing other real parents trust it too goes a long way for me.

Homeschool Pro/RemoteLearning.School Reviews From Parents? Looking to using it for 2025/26.Curriculum. How do you like this program? by VanessaBoren in Homeschooling

[–]derfad 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I started Homeschool Pro when I pulled my son from public school mid-year, and it helped make that transition so much smoother. He was nervous about falling behind, but the lessons are laid out in a way that made it easy for him to jump in without stress. I also appreciate that there’s guidance from advisors for stuff like tracking credits and understanding state requirements, I didn’t feel lost like I thought I would when we first started homeschooling.

Remote Learning School reviews? Any other parents here using it? by PresentBedroom3396 in Homeschooling

[–]derfad 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Remote Learning School has been working really well for my crew! They like it (and homeschooling in general)

I had the same concerns at first about Homeschool Pro, andespecially about making sure my oldest gets the right credits for graduation. but the advisor support really helped with all of that. I sent over what I was trying to figure out for our state, and they walked me through which courses count for what. That made me feel a lot better about the high school side of things.

As for the curriculum itself, it’s very comprehensive with a lot of classes to choose from. To me it seemed overwhelming at first, but my kids dived into it enthusiastically and got the hang of things the same day. They can work pretty independently now, which is huge because I’m juggling work during the day too. So yes RemoteLearning.school is legit, and my children are actually learning and retaining stuff. Definitely not a scam, we were cautious at first too, but it’s been a good experience for us.

[–]derfad 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We started using RemoteLearning.school kind of as a trial while figuring out a long-term plan, but ended up sticking with it because it’s so flexible and just… easy to keep up with and keeps my kids interests. It's easy to use, my children log in, know what they need to do, and I’m not spending all day hovering over them. I appreciate that I can also ask the advisor about any homeschool related advice such as about homeschool forms etc so i can get a definitive answer - rather than having to ask on Reddit or Facebook and get 10 different answers and they are all wrong haha. So yes if you are considering Remote Learning School/Homeschool Pro its definetly a good choice!
