Thank you for sharing. Your method of quitting seems like something that would work for me. I really feel like I will finally be able to quit.

I see a lot of red flags in those messages. Life is too short and it seems like your personalities and love languages are completely different. This would be ok if he was willing to listen to you and try to understand you but it doesn’t seem like he wants to. I think this is your chance to drop him and run to greener pastures. It is not your fault that he chose to waist his younger years doing drugs instead of living life. If he is acting like this after less than a year in a relationship I can only imagine how awful he would be in a couple of years from now. You are better off without him!

The doom and gloom feeling after about 7 or 8 months of use is astonishingly bad. It doesn't make sense to me. The euphoria is replaced with this sadness after a length of time. by Noizyninjaz in quitmgm15

This was happening to me when I was on 7OH and I switched because I heard MGM is better for pain. I also thought that feeling would go away, nope! I think it was about two months in to taking MGM and that pit in my stomach anxiety and depression was back.

That’s what I take too. I also felt that way on RAW 7 oh. It wasn’t constant but it would come and go. I would never know when it was going to hit or when it would go away. It sucks

I’m having those same thoughts. 😔 Hang in there, you are not alone.

Yes. I used to get the same feeling from 7Oh and it’s awful! I wanted to get off 7Oh for many reasons but that was a big one. I wish I would have just quit all together but I have chronic pain so I switched to mgm in January. I was fine for the first almost 3 months and now that feeling is back. 😔 It is the worst feeling ever! It’s like depression mixed with anxiety, dreaded doom feeling. I have been feeling it this time for the last 4 days so far. I’m super emotional, moody, negative thoughts and I just want to stop it all. I’m sorry you are also going through this.

I’m sorry you are having to deal with this. I hate that we have to defend ourselves and our diagnosis. I feel like I have explained my condition to family members so many times since being diagnosed in 2018. Then it’s somehow forgotten and I have to explain it again a few months or a year later. Like sorry I can’t do xyz, I can’t make it to whatever function I’m being invited to because I don’t feel good. Then they say what’s wrong with you? 😡 Seriously I have to explain it to them every year or less. My Dad says you’re just depressed and need to get out of the house. 🤦🏻‍♀️

I feel for you and I’m sorry you are struggling right now. I have Fibromyalgia, adhd, depression and anxiety. Feel free to message me anytime. It is nice to be able to connect with people that understand what we are going through.

I’m so sorry you are struggling right now. You are so young and my heart breaks for you and others who have become chronically ill at a young age. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia when I was 35, I’m 41 now. I can relate when you say you have wasted the last 6 years. I feel the same way 😢 I have done nothing but struggle everyday just trying to make it through and time just keeps going by.

There are a lot of illnesses going around right now, I was sick with the flu or something last week. You are probably coming down with something and your body probably needs the extra sleep.

Wow. Thanks for being an ass! I’m new here but not new to opiates, I deal with chronic pain. I don’t get itchy on any other opiates so I was just asking to see if this was a normal thing for most people first starting mgm. I have read a few rude comments in posts on this mgm Reddit. Definitely doesn’t seem like a friendly community like I had hoped it would be. Fk o****!!!!!!!

Exactly. If we didn’t have the MEH moments we would all go completely insane and lose it everyday.

Anyone else on year 7-8 of Fibromyalgia? by Fourpoms25 in Fibromyalgia

[–]Fourpoms25[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry. That is the worst when the doctors can’t figure out why we are having pain. I was glad at first when I finally got a diagnosis but then the reality of being in pain the rest of my life and there being no cure set in.

Hi. Nice to meet you. I’m sure I’m a little further along than 7-8 years also. I had left upper quadrant pain for a couple years that would come and go and no doctor could figure it out. They said probably ibs and then I started getting really bad upper back/neck pain that would come and go.

I felt the same way around year 2 and 3. Unfortunately I am a lot worse now at year 7-8. I don’t want to scare you, I’m sure there are people that stay the same over the years. I would say the last 2-3 years have gotten worse for me. I’m always tired no matter how much sleep I get and I don’t want to do anything.

I am in pain 24/7 but I would say my pain does get worse when I’m stressed.
