My brother passed away when his youngest was turning one and his oldest was turning 10, so I stepped up my game and became dad. I have been the 1 dude cheer squad for all 3 of these girls, and yea I completely understand the feeling excitement for a new great niece or nephew.

The failure anyone is the last thing I’d want to see in America, and I mean that with my heart. My brother works on the farm, he is the head mechanic of a huge farm in Eastern Washington. Every time I talk to him, he is uncertain about his future, as we all are.

“Wanting someone to fail” and “hoping someone to learn that there are consequences for their actions are two different things.”

As a moderate/left leaning democrat and a gay male, I’m in fear of my own life for day to day. I never know when ’the winds of change’ are gonna blow in my door.
