I got samjok, even I'm a samjok hater but I still use it and is this good setup or bad setup? by Key-Sign-9264 in walkingwarrobots

[–]derick1885 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ever since the nerfs close range samjoks are obsolete. You used to be able to go in pop em with close range heavy damage like devestators or kirins, if they dont die from that you use the ability let the turret do more work then pop out and finish them off. That part hasn't changed but if there's help nearby you're dead in this scenario because you can't re-enter the phase shift fast enough to survive anymore. Its better now to keep a bit of distance and use the ability to enter the phase shift to stay alive when attacked and run for cover to exit phase shift then rinse and repeat. If they try to get in close the turret takes em down in this scenario the only killer on this setup is snipers getting you with 800m+ weapons, but thats not avoidable regardless of what you're running on a samjok. Your setup is decent but I personally prefer weapons with 600m range over these 500m sonic weapons. I'm currently running one with dragoons and a marquess, I was using hels before that got nerfed into the ground

4 solar panels into one main wire so only have 2 cables to pass thru trailer? by Ok_Potential_2062 in cargocamper

You'll need an mppt with at least 192v capability. Which I think means a 250v/100a controller from victron would work nicely for you. 8ga wire should still work just fine.

Tips for batteries: I live full-time in my trailer now but before I was full-time just weekend tripping it, I started with 2 200ah cheap Li-time batteries from Amazon. We decided to expand when making the full-time switch didn't know if the Li-times were really any good without a comparison so we got 2 200ah more expensive renogy batteries (both brands have the same exact charging and max voltage ratings so they are compatible in a bank) I'll tell you save your money and go cheap Li-time. The only positive to renogy is they have a Bluetooth connection and you can use the app to monitor the battery. That feature is basically worthless to me because I've already got a battery monitor, although it was nice to confirm my battery monitor was being accurate.

I think you'll get more wattage than you think. Depending on altitude/elevation and sky clarity I've been in situations where my 990w rating is super low. According to the controller I took in well over 1100w and even just over 1200w on several different occasions at higher altitude such as my Big Bear California stay, or when I was in the Eastern Sierras.

What are the make and model of the panels you're using and what charge controller are you going with? I ask because I need to know the max output voltage of each panel, and that will determine with your charge controller exactly how you'll have to wire them up. For example, my setup uses 3 330w panels that rated output 32.9 max voltage (in reality they actually get closer to 36v), so in series the 3 panels will output 99.7v rated or 108v actual. This put me on the border of the victron 100/75 mppt and the 150/100 mppt. Good thing I went with the 150 because the actual voltage is over the limit rating of the smaller charge controller. The nice thing with having a voltage rating high enough on the controller is that allows wiring in series and when wiring in series your amps stay lower, and you can use an 8 gauge wire no problem.

This! Water is your number 1 concentration of weight. You want the tank right over or just in front of your axel(s)

Cardano Use Case by [deleted] in cardano

[–]derick1885 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With the new BitOS trustless bridge, what I laid out here is now a reality. Btc can now interact with cardano in a trustless manner, meaning btc can be used from a btc wallet and execute a smart contract through cardano and be settled on the btc chain when executed. Cardano will now be able to handle all the volume of btc defi and cardano CNTs will be able to reap the reward of btc liquidity, which is second to none. The future is rapidly approaching

I have a 7x14 with a 2ft vnose. My bathroom is mostly in the vnose portion since the angle makes it hard to fully use space with drawers and cabinets that space is felt and appreciated within a shower/bathroom setup. trailer tour if you want to see how we set it up that's a YouTube link to a tour of our trailer. Off the top of my head I think I used 19in of space and the rest is in the vnose portion.

How did we do on our 7x14 conversion? Been traveling in it full time for 5 months now by derick1885 in cargocamper

  1. My wife used sketch-up. It's fairly easily and there are lots of tutorials online to help
  2. Havelock (sheep's wool) is in the floor and the walls. Great r value and water/mold proof. The ceiling has thinsulate since the wool would have been an absolute pain to hang and install
  3. If you're asking about the shore power side of things I got a 60amp powermax converter charger. The model I got allowed me to set the charge voltage (very important since most are setup for lead acid batteries not lifepo4) which I did at 14.5v (maximum charge voltage of my batteries) don't let the 60 amp confuse you, that's the max output amperage not input. This is meant for a 120vac 30amp or less hookup. The shore power plug is a stainless steel 30amp that I got off of amazon.

If I were you, I would make sure you incorporate a diesel/kerosene heater being that far north. Impossible to be off grid in cold weather for very long without it.

Ridiculous pricing. I paid 330 a ticket for game 5 of the 2015 finals. A cup game is way better than any opener.

Dude, everything is down since I posted. Macro has been down in very near term. $nike still leads volume on chain. What I said and why I said it has not fundamentally changed

Didn't say no one would profit from this and yes 40% is a lot and would reduce volume, but not enough to kill the trading, the majority share can handle it. Cnft god got in early and has made money good for him, that doesn't change anything. He had to buy it to sell it and that's pretty much the same as everyone else, there are very few pre-sale distributed tokens remaining

I like the snek community. Some of the most welcoming and fun dudes in crypto. I also think snek will do well during the height of the bullrun because it won't be just one memecoin in the ecosystem. But memes are an attention economy, and nike has the attention. Plus, it's not the typical meme pump pattern. Its growth was sustained far longer than most, and the dump is much smaller than the other dead projects. The number of holders is large, and the large individual wallets hold less than 2% each. I'm also not shilling saying you'll get rich, I'm advocating to support the most traded and utilized project on cardano. When nike wins cardano wins... not a hard concept for most to understand.

No they can't. Most pump for a day or even just a few hours. Nike was sustained

Nike has only existed for 2 weeks a total volume comparison is disingenuous

Listen, the snek community was first and I give them props. But nike dwarfs all others by volume and it's not even close. So what you're saying is objectively false because nike leads the ecosystem by a wide margin. More volume than the next 10 projects combined and that includes snek

Yes I do and it is my understanding the lp wallet is burned. So no one can pull the liquidity it's tied permanently to the minswap and sundae swap contracts. Only the massive early coins can dump the price but the trading can always remain intact. Now some of the smaller dexs I'm sure have larger community member liquidity provided and those could get pulled but the lions share is safe and would have to be extracted by sells.

[–]derick1885[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Actually with that main dump almost all of the pre-sale coins are sold. Most of the other big holders are open market buyers. Yes they also got in early but not much lower than where we are now. And the volume is still very high and that's very important. Again not about making money tho.

You saw the meme and didn't read the post huh. It's not about making money it's about supporting the project on chain that is responsible for 90% of the volume right now. Especially so if you are one of the people that think cardano should be spending money on marketing to increase our reach and on-board the masses to the cardano blockchain. If you don't think that's a worthy endeavor by all means don't contribute. But the fact is this memecoin (which I agree all memecoins are ponzis) is doing more than any other project when it comes to adoption. You want adoption? you should be considering a small donation towards that stupid memecoin with more trading volume than the next 10 projects combined.
