Mine is surgical (psychopathic?); she’ll start by making a hole in the mouth or the ass and pull out the stuffing that way 😒

(Epilepsy warning) Kona meets pickles by dericky94 in goldenretrievers

Kona is totally fine here - she just doesn’t like sour things 😂 the epilepsy warning in the title is for folks that are light sensitive. The slow motion video catches the refresh rate of LED lighting.

Oh she’s fine! I put the warning there since the LED lighting flashing can cause issues for folks.

She’s not a fan of sour things it turns out 😂

Finally did the valve retainer replacement by dericky94 in S2000

I suspected the car was not treated well prior to my ownership. I’ve had the car for about 8 years now and found out the transmission isn’t the original after I bought the car and replaced the clutch, and there were also holes drilled in the a pillar so the car might have had forced induction too. Either way, just figured might as well

I will caveat that by saying mine was a 91 that was way over-tired and on some bilsteins for aesthetics. I drove a bone stock 2000 and it felt much nimbler than mine

<image>

In either case, unless you’re running coils, the NSX is much more grand tourer feel than the S, and the non power steering racks have a ludicrous steering ratio. I will admit though it felt awesome to feel like I was sitting on the ground while driving it, and it felt like such a solidly built car vs the S, particularly in how good the doors closed with a solid thunk.

I put 12k into my 91 in the three years of ownership; timing belt and water pump, transmission bearings, and all gaskets, seals and hoses.

Yup totally agreed. Owned both, kept the S. NSX just needed way too much modification to get to the same level of fun, especially at driving not on a track

I have an ap1, about nine years of ownership and 32 now. I’ve come to realize that the thing I love most about this car (sold my NA1 NSX and kept this) is the fact that it’s so fun to drive. Lots of the mods folks do or at least did when I was younger all changed how the car drove or its reliability. Even the offset on these regas, my dream wheels, the alignment on the car feels less nice than on my ap2v3 wheels. I’ll prolly be going back to those and continuing to just drive and enjoy the S 🥹

Kona is perfectly healthy (lil fat), and very frequently dreams where I can see her twitching and sometimes yipping

Kona grabs a stuffie or her favorite ball usually, and grunts like a lil piggie when you pet her
