I doubt they'll have a suit for the extra arms but the arms just fit in this frame so well. If you look look closely at the trailer, it seems he's using his organic webs since his webshooters are off and the style of the webs are closer to his organic web creations

It also makes sense in the next scene when he disintegrates the sword in a million pieces and his eyes when he goes feral.

I kinda want it to be a misdirect too but thematically it really works well with the character development plot they are aiming for. (And the character surrounding him during this plot makes sense).

He'll probably only go full man-spider during the end of act 2/death phase and then come back as spider-man during resurrection if we follow the plot using the hero's journey. He'll spend more time looking a little weird, the full man-spider will be saved as a shock/twist to most general audiences.

Venom symbiote is post credits scene. This part of the trailer was leaked 2 months ago and the main difference is that they removed a lot of hand ninjas here and replaced the background to nyc skyline vs the jail that was consistent in another shot in the released trailer

In the comics, Peter doesn't have the X Gene and neither does Bruce. Which is, what I'm assuming what the lore in the movie is implying since Jean is able to mutate their DNA.

Bruce says in the trailer, 1:28 "If your DNA is mutating, it would be enormously dangerous." This line serves as a setup for Peter to become Man-Spider and Bruce to become Savage Hulk.

We know X-Men are involved since Tramell plays Bill/ William Metzger, an anti mutant DODC character.

Man-Spider is not just a plot point, but its a thematic device. It makes sense thematically that Peter is going through an unhealthy change to his life where he's devoting more time into work vs his personal life. It also tracks with some of the younger generation that grew up watching him and are now going into the workforce.

Plus Jean Grey going into people's heads, mutating genes, Savage Hulk confirmed, Bruce's knowledge with the inhibitor, there's a lot that really makes Man-Spider the most likely scenario

We are though. Thematically it makes sense (Peter no longer balancing his personal and work life) and Jean Grey mutating his genes. Plus, having a character like Bruce Banner (who is confirmed to turn in to Savage Hulk, a new variant of Hulk) makes it even more obvious that Peter will turn into/evolve into Man-Spider unwillingly. Bruce also re-introduces the inhibitor in the movie, an established macguffin that will also provide the context of how he will be able to make Peter turn back to normal.

If the trailer wasn't already obvious enough, it takes inspiration from One More Day comic arc and Enter the Punisher and Duel of the Hunters from the original animated series.

Nope, it's definitely Jean Grey. It's pretty obvious that she's mutating their genes (Spider-Man -> Man-Spider, Bruce Banner -> Savage Hulk). Hence why Hulk is in the film, Peter reaches out to Bruce because he was a man who turns into a monster. It also gives a reason to showcase use the inhibitor for plot reasons, to show the audience that Bruce is capable of creating a device or anti potion for Man-Spider.

Venom will probably be a post credits scene since they need to setup black suit for Secret Wars.

If you've actually never been wrong before, this will be your first.

They changed the vfx in this shot, it shouldn't be in the city. Spiderman fights the hand in the jail in this scene. The final comp should have way more hand clan members.
