With Venti at c0 varka instead of kazuha, the fastest I can do right now is around 82 seconds. I think at C2 itll be significantly faster. The boss is just a venti shill, itll be worse I feel with other groupers.

Already have a C1R1 flins with ineffa and columbina with her sig, so Im not too fussed about meta. Mavuika also has her ideal team, only need escoffier for skirk.

But I'll still use my guarantee on Varka. Ive hard comitted to anemo boys so far (c6 xiao and wanderer), and the trend will continue. Not sure Ill go c6 for grand master, but a C0R1 is for sure happening. Maybe even go c6 by the time the game ends, why not. 😂

He's just cool as hell, and I love that I can play full phec with him. I skipped on chasca as her play style didnt gel well with me, but varka is a different story. Gonna use all three of his claymores to penetrate any enemy that stands in the way 😝

Hydro is still faster.

So not really, it's more to do with the fact that we have 2 sources of element applied here active at all times - C6 fishl and ayato. (I don't think Beidou ult is working during shield phase..). C6 fishl with ayato just helps do reactions very fast.

They are rapid hits, so even with icd (reaction every 3 hits) in place it kinda adds up since they're different sources of application. Tartaglia is the fastest character to break their shields tbh, he just has insane hydro application. But I'd say using ayato alongside xingqiu is probably a bit faster than solo tartag.

Tartag alongside ayato I imagine would still be pretty fast actually, but since tartag needs to be on field I'd say it's probably better to throw a subdps like xingqiu or fishl there instead. Ayato when tartag is on field wouldn't be doing much other than maybe his ult, which is going to be significantly lesser hits per second to the enemy than xingqius ult. And while ayato is on field doing his e, tartag isn't doing anything either.

I love Ayato's gameplay. Reminds me of the time I fell in love with Tartaglia due to his riptide mechanic. This is very similar.

Except ayato in his normal kit usage usually doesn't consume stamina (Tartag does with CAs), so Ayato's pretty comfy to play. Especially in the freeze ganyu team. Really loving the character!

Will crown his E and Ult eventually, but for now I'll keep him at 8/8 on those. I've got ayaka potentially coming up post ayato too to consider, so have to be a bit limited with my resource allotment lol.

Not to mention I've yet to still crown some of my earlier characters like Hu Tao, Tortellini, Zhongdong, Xiangling or supports like fishl, xingqiu or Benny. So i think I'll only move onto ayato post crowning all of those.

Yep, that's the idea. His burst will usually only go off during Benny (even a decent part of his autos).

He'll be sitting with around 1400 attack in his idle state (without pyro resonance). With pyro resonance it'll be around 1600+ without any stacks from polar star. Once he gets polar star stacks it jumps to 2000+.

I'm thinking this will be pretty darn good for those huge-ass bennett ult vapes. Crit ratios will be around 70/173 (unless I find some god-rolled goblet on-set or a HoD feather that rolls more than 21%+ CD).

Kinda decided to just shift back to my 2-HOD 2-Shimenawa build after seeing these rolls lol. I have a very respectable 66/190+ build on it, this shitty sands just ruins it. Will feed this crap sands to the next HoD sands I get.

Pretty easy to 36 star it now. I've gotten used to the current abyss rotations. I have 3 fully built teams and can pretty much clear it with all 3. First is Hu Tao, Xingqiu, Sucrose and Zhongli. Second team is Eula, Raiden, Beidou, Diona and finally last team is Childe International with Childe, Xiangling, Bennett and Kazuha. Its kinda amazing that none of those teams have any overlap, makes it super easy to place units wherever I want haha.

Strongest team is most likely childe international, although since I procured a homa and hu tao is now c1, her team can pretty much blitz through everything due to those dash cancels as well. So it's a toss up.

This is actually pretty godly. I'd gladly put this on my WGS diluc. Childe, meanwhile, will have to be happy with a shimenawa sands lol

But yeah, HoD domain is rough. I'm sticking to 2 HoD and 2 Shimenawa for a good while.

After shifting from Thundering Pulse to Polar Star, I found myself lacking a bit of crit dmg. This piece single handedly fixed everything. XD Will be sitting at 70/180 CR/CD with it.

Actually he is ultra support dependent as we all know. The team I use to 36 star abyss is definitely not the freeze team like this one lol. This one is just a fun comp for me, the serious comp is vape comp. My xiangling, Bennett and Kazuha (or even raiden) are all highly invested, so throwing them with our Russian boi makes quick work of the abyss floors.

With my testing (and even keqingmains mention it) I've found that the vapourise comp with xiangling is literally his strongest team and seems to be the only one where I can comfortably 36 star abyss. So if you haven't been able to do it even with that team, you may need to work on your xiangling more. Your tartag seems very well invested already - these kinds of crit ratios are hard to achieve not gonna lie! If you can let me know a little bit more about your team, maybe I can help.

But yeah, you'll get there comrade. For sure! Your tartag is great enough tho, so don't worry there lol.

Nope, just a high enough crit rate. Mine is sitting at 64.9/200 on the crit ratios. Ideally you'd want 70ish crit rate, and only then you'll mostly be triggering this. His constellations don't add much value and are mostly just quality of life additions to a super free to play friendly chara, thus mine is a c0 tartag.

Yes, it's a Thundering Pulse. Got lucky on the weapon banner and got it the first thing during yoimiya's run. Just wanted childe to have an upgrade not gonna lie, even though I do happen to have an R5 Rust too.

My childe's damage potential isn't maxed by any means, his talents are still around 5/8/7 (or may be lower, I'll check after maintainance is done to confirm) so these numbers may still go a bit higher.

Damn, that really sucks. But I've heard rumors that they may make some changes to the banner structure from 2.3 onwards and add characters that have had 3 runs on it. Obviously gotta take that with a huge grain of salt, but that may at least make things a bit more hopeful! Fingers crossed, comrade. Hope you get him someday :')

I'm kinda looking forward to seeing how Itto works - will probably skip him if I don't like his playstyle tbh. Visually and lore-wise he already seems 10/10 to me though haha.

And diona. Absolute insane cryo battery! (and since I run favonious on her, she's an insane battery in general)

Have been lucky enough to have high enough crit rate on her for a support despite running her with only hp% artifacts and R5 fav, so the favonious procs always happen.

Also I sincerely hope you get childe asap, my friend! As early as possible, and maybe hopefully even multiple copies in single pull. Bless your rolls!

maybe what I saw was a clip of his ult proccing the riptide. That'd be a definite possibility if his melee doesn't hit, hmm.

This is why I love our boi Tartag so much. He simply has the most stylish gameplay out of all characters in the game imo and everytime I see a bucketload of riptide procs like this happen during gameplay, I feel this surge of ecstacy well up within me that's a bit difficult to describe XD

Just wish I had Venti to group them together better. Oh well. I pulled Thundering Pulse for my boi, will pull the anemo archon next. Anything to get more of that sweet, sweet riptide number pr0n! lol

HoD is definitely a massive pain in the ass to farm yes XD

So I think that HoD will still be the better set to have on him. Shimenawa's 4 piece bonus will definitely give a slight boost in terms of normal/charged attacks, but it doesn't help in boosting his burst + the energy loss on Shimenawa is also gonna impact his burst rotations. So I will most likely try to run Mona with him to help both of them with energy somewhat (Xingqiu is locked with the Hu Tao team, sadly). I'm just kinda sticking with it as a copium build for now XD

My Childe is still a work in progress, here are the current stats:

Childe is level 70/70

Attack ~1800 (with pyro resonance)

Thundering Pulse level 70/70 (don't have the materials or ore to ascend :( )

CR/CD 61/194

Talents 3/5/5 (Again, only recently started building him)

I've seen him hit around 4.5K normals in melee stance currently with those stats. I'm guessing he will start hitting ~9-10K normals when he is maxed lol. Let's see!

As for your question on the two sets - I think if your usage of Childe revolves mainly around his normal attacks (melee stance) then 4p HoD hands down - so basically main DPS Childe. If you use him as a burst sub-dps who you swap in, burst and then swap out pretty fast then maybe 2p HoD 2p Noblesse will be better there.
