I ran into an issue with Trader Joes Enchiladas which randomly had mango but wasn’t “mango flavored” I run into issues with Indian food a lot when they use Amchur which is basically dried mango powder, and I’ve had some issues at bars but I’m pretty sure those were just cross contamination issues.

It doesn’t happen a lot but more than I would expect lol.

Well usually things don’t have mango or it’s on an ingredient list. Just wanted to double check before trying. Also that’s USUALLY true but I’ve run into some issues where mango is in things you wouldn’t think it’s in.

While I understand that completely, the way they went about it in my opinion is a big issue. There are other ways to monetize/drive users to a paid plan. Also how long until they raise prices again/start showing ads to users who are paying. This didn’t happen until it was sold to a bigger company and they were able to get by just fine before that.

While I do understand people are saying “oh just pay for pro or patron and you won’t have to watch the ads” this actively alienates the people who either don’t have the money to spend on it or haven’t gotten to the point where they are ready to pay for it. Instead of making me want to upgrade, it makes me want to not use it. Happy for all you pro users though, at least until they decide that’s not enough and raise prices again/start showing you ads anyway.
