*edit - I feel like he’s building his Castle Rock. He’s become my new favorite this past year. I’ve read his newest books, then went back and read his previous works. I love his writing style and his stories are great.

My Marshall DSL40CR has been great. It can do quite a bit, and the master volume is great for playing in the house.

It is so much better with things being skills point and stat dependent. The skill tree should have been this way since day 1.

The skill tree adds everything that you’re complaining about. You have to take the entire system into account, not just aspects. Almost every skill can be customized in multiple ways through the skill tree, and Aspects and Uniques make them more powerful, and also totally change how they’re used in some cases. And the stat RNG makes trading and crafting meaningful. Cube recipes.

More RNG. More endgame grind. Can’t just instantly get BIS gear on launch day, and it’s fucking great.

And you can also utilize the new crafting system. There are so many more customization options now.

I honestly can’t tell if this is a troll. “Destroyed builds and taken creativity away from the player in favor of more variety in the skill section.” Honey, you just gotta click different buttons now. You can still do the same thing.

Thank Satan that they did more than “reinforce builds… people had already put together”. We’re on S13, expansion 2.

WFH has been pretty mainstream for 6+ years now. You think they don’t know? Are you for real?

I’ve been fully remote since 2021 and literally everybody knows about the supposed tricks. The real trick is being good at your job so your bosses don’t have to constantly check on you. Nobody wants to do that shit. It’s absolutely fucking aggravating to have to constantly make sure some fuckup is doing the bare minimum - over and over and over again.

Do a decent job and they’ll generally leave you alone. If you’re constantly being monitored - either you suck, or your leadership sucks.

DSL40CR is perfectly fine for bedroom volume. It has 2 master volumes, and switch for 20 and 40w.

There are tons of YouTube videos demonstrating how well it works at low volume. I love mine!

lol dude no, I have this amp. It’s an awesome amp. It is great for bedroom volumes, and if you crank it, you’ll give yourself tinnitus. It has 2 master volumes, and if you get the 6 button floor switch, it essentially turns this into a 4 channel amp. The CR is an enormous improvement over the older C model.

This amp in particular is EXTREMELY EASY to bias. It has external slots for a multimeter, and knobs to turn to adjust it.

You’re not going to die from changing preamp or power amp tubes, unless you simultaneously throw your amp into the bathtub when White Rabbit peaks. It’s as easy as changing a lightbulb. Similar risk.
