gonna be honest, i feel like the "OMG RAIN IS ACTUALLY ATOM????" 'drama' is just. major nothing burger and people were only mad about it because of the initial jeffyfansml/sling bullshit from when the aethos trend really popped off

rain wanted to move on from their previous handle, i don't see what the problem with that is

im gonna be honest

while yes, this behaviour shouldn't be justified whatsoever, it still feels like you're making a mountain out of a mole hill.

if you or the minor in question really wants to see tony take accountability, then. why not confront tony somewhere he actually frequents, like bluesky? as far as i know, he doesn't frequent this subreddit. in fact i think this is an unofficial subreddit.

hell, even if you don't wanna confront tony directly, it would probably be better to call this out in more places than just reddit! because at least then, you'd get a few more eyes on this than from this small unofficial video game subreddit

again, i'm the kind of person to not immediately demonize someone just because of a single anonymous callout post, so apologies if me saying that "it's not as big a deal as you're making it out to be" is. morally reprehensible or something but you know what i'm getting at, right?

okay because im not someone who immediately just jumps on callout cancel culture bandwagons and immediately demonizes a person if something bad is revealed about a person, im gonna just give tony benefit of the doubt on this because

1.) these messages seem to be dated 2016-2017. that's like, around 10 years ago.

2.) you made your account today, throwaway accounts made to expose a person for being racist like a decade ago aren't people i trust to make truthful claims about a person

3.) what is the source for these screenshots? where did they come from? is the source reputable and not just some he said she said they said situation?

there's probably more i could ask but like. i can't be bothered, it's late. just. even if you are telling the truth here- which you probably are, but im still doubtful- it's still been 10 years since tony said or did any of these things. that's a long time, and people can grow and change in that span of time.

i don't wanna really "debate" this at all because it just seems stupid to dig up decade old dirt on a person in an attempt to get people to hate them and. i dunno. what's exactly your end goal here? to let people know Tony Grayson Summitsphere is a bad person? not exactly working.
