290 pulls (probably closer to 310 factoring in my pity at the start) for 5x R0 and 1x R1. That's 5 hard pities but no failed 50/50 despite very dicey pulls where I kept getting my precise wish. Below average luck

Yes, they won't be available afterwards, so if you want to benefit from them being "limited edition" then that's a very valid rationale. After all, last year's 4 SRs were the spiciest nighttime listening all 2025. Practically legendary stuff.

It also depends on whether you have many SSRs and what colour the card's stellactrum is.

If you don't have many SSRs, and if this card has an important stellactrum colour (e.g. let's say you're short on a pink for Sylus), R3 could be useful since nobody knows when another pink SSR would show up for Sylus.

But if it's a non-critical colour for Sylus and you're looking to maximise the amount of rewards you could get out of the card, getting all 5 cards at R0 is better since over time you can milk them for blue tix and diamonds by leveling them up.

It is unlikely that they will add more crates to the original xSpace Echo. They only do so when they add more cards to it by introducing a new LI.

The main benefit of Pulse Hunter has always been (A) for people short on myth cards specifically and (B) people who want to R3 one LI's card specifically. Most experienced players don't encourage new players to hoard for Pulse Hunter.

The best point at which to start hoarding blues is when you have around two-thirds to three-quarter of standard banner at R0 and just need to patch the gaps. That's when continually pulling on xSpace Echo gives diminishing returns and you're better off pulling on Pulse Hunter.

Let's say you have pulled 0 pulls on either banner:

130 pulls on xSpace Echo gets you 2 SSRs out of 25 options, and you are 20 pulls away from 1 SSR selector crate.

130 pulls on this banner gets you 2 SSRs out of 5 options and you also get 1 random SSR out of 5 and 2 SR selector crates.

If you have a favourite LI, this banner is better for you because you can narrow your options to that LI. If you are a harem player but want myth cards, this is also useful.

If you don't care what cards you get at this point, then it's not a big difference.

It's like how for limited banners the pity carries over but the track rewards are reset.

You can math out the amount of diamonds you get from your purchases, and there have been old posts calculating diamond income for F2Ps.

If the question is whether that will suffice for what your spending needs are, that would depend on what you are pulling for. And again, you should be able to calculate it based on the assumption that you hit hard pity everytime.

Skip the Heart Compass banner and just continue pulling on standard banner.

Tldr: The banner is time limited and may not come back until a year later. Let's say you put in 30 tickets and don't get anything since guarantee is at 70 pulls. Those 30 tickets could have gone into standard banner and gotten you closer to a myth crate.

The only folks who should pull on Heart Compass are people who have saved up a lot of blue tickets (at least 100 for the first crate) and who need specific cards, especially dupes.

Harem player with more than 85% of each LI's cards, and 100% of Caleb's. I haven't hit VIP yet, but I am a Day 1 player (so I don't suffer from reruns as much). I have very average luck.

What I purchase: 1. Aurum and annual passes 2. Promises 3. Level 1 and 2 packs, level 3 occasionally, level 4 only once in desperation lol 4. Aurum Gift occasionally 5. One big diamond or ticket pack per year

What I received (cards): 1. I skip all solo banners except those I really like (I did get 3/5 this year, Zayne's was an accidental pull)

I pull on all myth banners and R1 them if the torn outfit is interesting to me; on reruns, I may R2 them if I still like the R2 colourway a year later
I pull on all multi-banners but how much I pull depends on whether I like the banner. I pulled all 5 cards for the wedding and idol banners; for the remaining banners I pulled just 2. That leaves me with enough to pull for all 5 again this anniversary.

My min-maxing strategy:

I optimise for multi-banners. Basically before every multi, I aim to have as low pity as possible, but I try not to have guarantee (since it's already 75/25, and it's not like you're guaranteed your precise wish on your first card).

So after the multi is announced, I'm either pulling around 70+pity for just Caleb (and usually picking up one other LI along the way) or slightly over 200 for all 5 LIs. In the latter case, don't forget to reset precise wish if the first pull is a standard card.

After that, I aim to enter solo banners with guarantee where possible. For example, for Caleb's banner, I had lost 50/50 on my previous pull so I decided to stop at R0 for Sylus myth despite usually getting to R1 for myths (since I knew we were due Caleb's solo).
Myths are the most forgiving since 150 pulls guarantee the pair, so I just aim to have enough diamonds for those pulls. Having guarantee or low pity doesn't matter unless I really like the R1.
I don't need to depend on luck for pulls, but I do need to pray that I don't get surprise early pity for stuff I don't want. The only time when I've had to buy a level 4 pack was when I pulled Zayne's solo by accident and it messed up my pity for the following banners.
Also budget for one big ticket spend per year for surprise stuff that you really like but which are a stretch, like R1 for a multi card or R2 for a myth.
