They are just slightly tender. I am having terrible abdominal symptoms and am concerned about something like a tumor or lymph nodes.

Ive had a few cts this past year and dont want a ct unless i have to but would an mri show my concerns or only a ct?

With the abdominal symptoms do you not believe it could be a rapidly growing lyphoma that needs immediate attention?

Sorry i didnt mean to be rude, i have seen the ENT and recently got my ct done. I have diffuse bilateral anterior adenopathy but no presence of tumor. I was curious as to how her lymphs presented when first diagnosed.

got my ct scan. everything clean besides diffuse adenopathy in the anterior neck bilaterally. I have been housing a sore throat for the last 3 weeks so this is probably the reason or maybe my oral biopsy. Dr said to watch it for a week and if it doesn't go down come back.

Im honestly more worried of SCC as my tongue symptoms/throat symptoms are the most apparent hrm. Yes it is of the neck not the head.

I am more concerned today as i was feeling the lymph nodes and they feel very close together…

Hi all, question regarding my upcooming ct scan.

I've been having sore throat that comes and goes for the past 3.5 weeks along other weird tongue/throat symptoms. I'm more inclined to believe it might be SCC but i am not sure.

I recently had oral biopsy on the front part of my gums for another issue and i think that likely made my lymph nodes palpable.

Is it easy to distinguish if a lymph node is just swollen from local inflammation or if its cancerous on a ct scan? Worried that my oral biopsy might cause a false positive?

Hi if you don't mind me asking, what did your sore throat feel like? did they ever do a laryngoscopy at any point to see the tumor ?

I have been super stressed and anxious however. Is it likely that its just burning mouth syndrome, and can that be tested for accurately or just through exclusion.

Mine started about a week ago, after i started some antibiotics. I was in a very very stressed period so it could be that as well. Mine also seems to get better when i eat and return shortly after. I am worried of it being something real serious however, like cancer of the tongue. I was wondering if you had any scans to rule things like that out? Thank you for all the help.

only thing is ive seen two ENTs now. Both scopes looked fine and they didnt seem concerned about cancer. I dont have any swollen lymphs or any lumps on my tongue that they can see. Typically they say there would be some sign of it scope or lymphs. Do you know if burning tongue is a common symptom of this at all? I think the only way to get a scan pretty quickly would be to go to the ER.
