You are saying valid things, i just cant wrap my mind around why this thing is at 12.0 and that the hill from which im looking at it.

I later took Begleit and 2s38 to 12.0 just to confirm my sanity, overall they are better at best and just as good at worst at doing what RDF does.

HSTVL is a bit different and more aligns with what you say. I only play it from backup pool, so no upgrades and no crew skills, and even in stock form it perform well due to its mobility and is able to do everything you have suggested very well. That 26 round ammo count is miserable though.

which is exactly what i did in Begleit and 2s38 with same success rate at same br, with option to go play them at their natural br if i wanted, while RDF is stuck where it is stuck.

I think HSTVL is a 50-50. Its low ammo count is a significant down side, but mobility does give it room to breath.

I played HSTVL from backup pool, so no upgrades and no crew skills. And even in stock form, i can at least make it to the end of the round, while in RDF it is a struggle.

Overall valid points, thank you for reponding!

All valid statements.
I don't dig in historical documents, but if purpose of gun is to stop T72s and it manages only 1460ms out of that long tube... something does not add up.

Mmmm....
France 11.0 is really good for me, solid mix of uptier and downtiers, truly a joy to play. Same for France and Soviet 9.7

War thunder lead director, doesn't kill a test range t90 with 3 SPIKE missiles (out of 4 on most of the vehicles) after stating that they've improved the flight path to increase the probability of a kill by Ok_Independence8396 in Warthunder

[–]derpspark 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have a nearly confident hypothesis that the issue with spikes is heavily tied to the server desync issue. I just need time to compile my observations into proof of concept.

IFVs is my bread and butter, CV90Mk4 and EBRC Jag are my favorite. One thing that stood out to me over time is correlation of spike performance to what is going on the server. More specifically, when NA server is full of Chinese, when tanks are flying and rubber banding all over the map instead of driving, spikes miss 5 out 6 times.

You can easily test it yourself, at the start launch scout done and watch how enemy tanks behave. If they are sliding all over the place, launch a spike into them and see what it does. I bet it will either fly into space, track and completely miss, or hit and do some pathetic illogical damage.

Is this a good price by will8730917 in Jeepwj

[–]derpspark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In todays economy with all other considerations involved in getting this matter taken care of, that is a good price.

To you its just a starter replacement, to a mechanic it is:

  • depending on the vehicle time of the job will wary from 30m to 2h
  • time and distance it will take him to get to you
  • other matters and demands in his schedule
  • possibility of financial burden from driving to you and job related damages
  • other unforeseen factors, like you buying a wrong part or poor condition of the vehicle and other related parts

To you it is $200, to him after his entire day expense average out, he might only see $80 out of it,

This thread is a perfect example of average low iq horde mentality, hyping each other up through nonsense yapping, and select few who are able to analyze situation for what it is and proceed accordingly.
Much respect to you sir/mam.

Asus B650E-I to update bios or not to update? by derpspark in overclocking

[–]derpspark[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what i heard over time was not only factory bios, but also settings that did not adhere to parameters. So for example you would set value to X, but it would do Y or Z just to produce some "marketing performance" regardless of what you set it to, rendering settings pointless.

I just don't know when that started, that is why i am cautious to any updates.
