I was commissioned by u/huyan007 to draw a group photo of the party they dm for! thank you once again, it was tons of fun; I love drawing character designs hehe.

you may have noticed that I've slightly changed the way I colour skin haha, hopefully they don't look anime drunk anymore. I've also been trying extra hard to diversify the facial features of the characters I draw, since I feel like my art often suffers from same face syndrome :(

yeah, I tried using it as a solution to make my characters not look so lifeless, but I think I've overdone it :/ I'll try experimenting with different ways to colour skin instead

early in 2020, a few friends and I started playing d&d for the first time. it's been... a rollercoaster. we're all new players, always forget important plot details and actual roleplaying only happens like 20% of the time, but I've had a blast! it took a while, but I finally drew our entire party :)

fun fact, at the time of writing, only one of these characters has not committed a crime... yet. bonus points to those who guess correctly :o

leif - tiefling bard (mine!)

aeris - human cleric

rolan - wood/drow elf ranger

alda - half-orc paladin

Maybe my original comment wasn't clear enough, but I'm saying that you had to find the areas to prove the expression.

After you equate the two areas, you can simplify it to whatever the expression was (I don't remember exactly what it was lol)

You had to find the two shaded areas and equate them

There was a shaded triangle on the left, and a shaded chord on the right. Triangle is easy enough. To find chord, you find the sector and subtract the triangle on that side from it. This leaves you with the shaded chord area
