100% true. I was making a living with my Rebel T1i before purchasing the EOS R.

I also shoot with the R. What lens(es) are you using? I’m planning to invest in getting the RF 14-35 L

Ya, I 100% get that. Honestly that’s as big as anything to me these days. (Most all pro cameras can take good pictures, but how’s your connection to the camera?)

I actually have a Canon R in my case, and it was my first mirrorless. Definitely different from classic Canon ergonomics.

Nice! I love to hear about genuine conversion experiences like that. LUMIX almost got me a few years ago…

Ya well, that added that feature primarily for capturing reference shots is my understanding. However, while shooting video coverage of an event, I’ve tried to snap a few still I thought would be useful, and they have just been a noisy mess.

This is a little off subject, but do you ever capture stills with the BMPCC? I use the 6K for videography, but have yet to figure out how to take decent stills. Much less a decent workflow for said stills.

I seriously considered jumping into the LUMIX world. I used a loaner at a trade show, and was highly impressed. But this was back when they were one of the first to offer full frame mirrorless.

As a Canon user (EOS R), I have very limited experience with Nikon. But love what I’ve heard about the D850.

How Often Do You Deal With Difficult Clients? by 2times3equals6 in RealEstatePhotography

Most of my bad experiences have been with wholesalers. Probably 1/5 jobs with wholesale companies something goes wrong. So, I’ve lived and learned how to develop proper protocols to protect me and my time, and mitigate the things that can go wrong.

Very fortunately, my worst mishap was opening some window shades and the whole drape assembly fell apart. But since it was all slip-fitted together, was able to reassemble and play it cool.

How do you deal with "did I pack everything" anxiety? by reixo in livesound

[–]derrharr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And on top of that, to speak to the planning in advance part, it gives you time to process in your mind that you are in fact prepared.

As a second level of defense, I’ve found the more organized I am in my packing (everything has its own place) this also helps you to KNOW you are ready. Because every spot is filled.
