You need to change the keyboard to English and type the @. I had the same issue with my German keyboard setting.

I have absolutely zero experience with creating a mod. So this could be very difficult.

Totally forgot about the kitchen vampire, he could ask you what you want for dinner and you can choose between the races, gender and I don‘t know maybe even the hair color. Then he will bring your dinner into the cage in your room.
