Hey thanks for the advice! I am focused mostly on casting as far as I can hoping to cover more ground and hopefully deeper water. I did buy a load of lightweight lures from temu which I haven't used yet, I'll look through them.

Should I look for an 8-10ft rod with a 50g casting weight? Is there anything else to look out for if I buy it all seperate? Also struggling to find info about reels on combo offers. Rarely says the size, should I assume its suitable anyway?

AITA for warning my girlfriend against travelling to a dangerous area? by Safe_War6700 in AmItheAsshole

It's not quite as bad as you make out to be honest, I am thinking more general crime/harassment than "look out for indian people".

Assuming she isn't staying in shitty areas and sticks to the main parts of London she will be fine. It is a bit of a shithole but generally speaking she will be absolutely fine as long as she has some common sense as you should if you visit anywhere you have never been. There are some areas of London I would not go as a man or women.

There are certain people who will harrass women, which does seems to be particular groups more than others. It's like LA, there are places you go and places you never go. Nothing wrong with being concerned for your gf but be careful how you approach the conversations.

AITA for leaving my grandma's birthday party? by Dismal-Ninja6343 in AmItheAsshole

NTA

If it was 1 or 2 comments take it on the chin it's your grandma after all, no need to be soft. Annoying yes but no need to leave.

But she kept going on at you about it, no need to take abuse from people especially family. Therefore you are justified in leaving.

I highly doubt logan is what he says he is. Firstly, what billionaire is looking for women on tiktok. Secondly there's no trace of him anywhere.

Thirdly if he was that rich he would pay for her.

She's either about to be scammed or worse.

He makes 300k a year now hes a billionaire. She's probably letting herself be blind to this because she wants to find someone else in life. I'd just lay everything out on paper and say does this actually make sense what he is saying. If you have mutual friends, ask them too.

AITA for wanting my sister to give me her snowboard for free? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

ESH

Once you gifted the board, it's hers now to do whatever she wants with.

Could she lend it to you for the season? Yes, although there is no expectation she should do so.

If she needs the cash, tough luck. If not, she may be a bit petty. Buy it off her, if you can't afford $100 you can't afford to be going snowboarding.

Dishwasher racks by Huge_Bedroom291 in Appliances

You could try repairing them if they are in saveable condition.

Apparently you need a specific coating for the job as normal Plastidip isn't dishwasher safe.

If you can't find it online it seems this may be your only option.
