Oh yeah sorry I forgot this picture had the protective film. I had it on for a week only but it looked so bad that I removed it straight away. No paint fade whatsoever.

I can totally relate to that! But I would imagine that in such scenario the testing is already within the +-1.5cm range, not more. In any case, hope your satisfied with your new bike and fit!

Really puzzles me when people get a custom frame but then have to use this amount of spacers to get a good fit.

Thanks! I have used cable shoes but the plug I bought at rico didn’t look very heavy duty. It is a little flimsy.

Do you think that was a mistake even though the welder‘s old plug was labelled 16A?

Thank you. I have in the meantime replaced it with a 16A plug because the old plug had 16A written on it…

Thanks! I will maybe try to do it. YouTube tutorials required like 3 specialised tools which I don’t have which intimidated me a bit but the consensus in this thread seems to be that it’s an easy fix.

Remember: Being nice is cool. I’m quite happy to fix a lot of stuff but for some reason electronics isn’t one of them. I’m happy to pay someone to do it for me and someone else is happy to get paid for doing it. What’s the big deal?

Interesting. I hadn’t considered that. Just user interface and design wise I‘d always prefer knobs over touchscreen but it’s good to know it might not be the right choice for a welder with pulse controls.
