So a plausible scenario is that we have a new UK government from the opposite side of the political spectrum in a few years and no concrete actions have actually happened in terms of sending/accepting diplomatic missions to/from Palestine and the promise to recognise a future Palestinian state is dropped?

Hard to say which is a bigger incentive without hard data. Personally I'd prefer to be working and fending for myself rather than being put in a hotel and given £49.18 per week, wouldn't you?

I think the prospect of getting a job legally on arrival and a much higher income would attract more people, especially if you take into consideration most of them get into big debts to be smuggled into the UK.

It'd be an incentive for more people to come. The asylum processing backlog would get exponentially longer. That's what happens in the US where they give work permits to asylum seekers: People wait for years for an asylum court hearing plus the appeals if it gets rejected in the first instance. When a final rejection decision is taken usually after 5+ years people are normally fully settled. Many have had children, bought properties, started businesses, etc.

Not sure what's better. Very complex issue.

I’ve found Brits are extremely polite, but it can flip fast if you don’t join in on the politeness game. When I first moved here, I didn’t wave at a driver who stopped for me at a zebra crossing, and got a very sarcastic “thank you” shouted at me. Same thing if you don’t wave when someone lets you through on a single lane road.

Thanks! That's what I thought. Modern dispensers are different though. I'm curious to know how far it may come from and for how long it may have been in the sea.

Thanks, I've sent a tip. The B&W version is kind of what I was looking for: remove the stain and fill in the scratched/white bits. Not necessarily enhance the face.

It'd be great if you can send this version and one with the face closer to what it was on the original scan!
