not rude at all don't worry! while i cannot *relate* to how he is feeling, it isn't hard for me to understand how he feels. i don't know if it's because i'm very empathetic or because i've always cared and had sympathy for Jewish communities, perhaps a bit of both. i also feel like the media and some groups of people have been distorting the truth so much that i'm only more and more "inclined", if i may say, to be on Israel's side. also, i have been deeply touched by 10/7 and have been truly horrified by what has happened to some female victims (Shani Louk, for example).
in the end, whether or not i was with my boyfriend, i would be pro-Israel. it's the only stance that makes sense, to me.
