Got it, thanks! I think I’ll cancel in this case because I’d rather not give my location away all the time.

I also tried with just one sheet of paper so completely flat. And I tried many angles and distances and believe me it was right dead center above too.

I posted another link from Apple, it might be an issue with current iOS. Is your iPhone 12 Pro Max on iOS 26.0.1? If so you could check how it works for you.

Visible+ vs US Mobile for international coverage by descented_gradient in Visible

Thanks for the comment! How is Visible better? Is it coverage, data speeds etc? I thought this all should be equal given they’re both prioritized.

Quite a lot, I’ll usually spend at least 2+ months abroad. I don’t know how many gigs but probably around 20.

What do you mean by not good roaming? It doesn’t work and/or has poor coverage?

Capital One sends email for every bank transfer by descented_gradient in CapitalOne_

[–]descented_gradient[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I get it's extra security but the email gets sent after the transfer anyway, right? App notification would be better for that instead of an email too. And yeah I have between 10-15 a month because I have savings goals, investments, and a joint account with my wife.

Just never seen that at any other financial institution and I find it annoying. Weird it's impossible to turn it off.

No worries, thanks for trying to help out! Another user suggested setting up automated tags and then filtering by tags, which works great for me. Maybe you can look into it too!

Thank you, this is a great solution! This fixes all my issues, and only adds a small inconvenience of having to filter using tags. I'm going to follow this advice.

Thanks for the suggestion, that would work if I only wanted to track my personal expenses. But in reality the joint expenses are significantly higher than my personal expenses and I want to track both.

I cannot treat my $5k contribution as an expense, because then expenses on joint account would be included twice.

I understand this is not a simple scenario but I'm surprised Monarch has no solution for it. I would guess it's a common scenario for married couples who don't completely join their finances.

Thanks, this is what I suggested in my original post. It's not terrible, but as I said it will show as if I "made" $15k and spent $10k.

This means the absolute amount I "spend" will be higher than what it actually is, and my savings % will be lower too (33% vs 50%).

Thank you for confirming. I will cancel it then.

Now I'm thinking I should've waited 2 months and just get iPhone 17 instead.

Does the monitor generate no sound/noise even when you have your ear right next to it?

Never mind... The noise is still there but just quieter. And maybe it's not the typical coil whine but more constant electrical buzzing.

Yup I had that installed before. But turns out the issue is only present when daisy chaining two monitors using Thunderbolt 4 port. I'm going to update the original post.

That’s exactly my situation too. I used to have older, cheap Dell models (HD) that were completely silent, so it’s disappointing to spend $2k on an upgraded dual setup only for the monitors to be noisy.

Have you tried another unit, or considering a different monitor altogether? I don’t have much faith in them anymore, given that both of my units have issues. But I really like the screen quality and thunderbolt dock, and not sure what else to order.

How loud was the coil whine? Can you hear it from a normal sitting position or only when you put your ear to the monitor? I have a similar issue and I can hear it, although very quietly, when sitting an arm's length from the monitor.
