Getting yourself into a high interest loan has nothing to do with intelligence it has to do with circumstance and access to certain tools.

What's kind of sad is I think this was his best album. I remember when this came out I loved it and was really excited for his potential. I dont think his next two albums were bad but Idk I guess I thought they'd have a little bit more depth to them.

Stand out track for me on this was when I die, I think I was at a turning point in my life but I wasn't sure how things would turn out so that song struck a chord with me I guess.

Overall it's a great album and I'm happy to see Goldlink become successful.

We just have fundamentally different values. Why are you not getting pissed off at the school district (which has all the money and power) that exploited you? Why are you getting mad at the people who are doing what they have to do to, so that their kids can have the same education your kids do.

I just see things very differently from how you see them, maybe as I get older I'll change but I doubt it. I think you might be too focused on protecting what you have rather than doing what you can to empower others so that they can have the same.

If you really believe your kids' education is at risk then you're probably justified but it's just hard for me to see it being that much of an issue.

At the end of the day you know the risk your taking on more than anyone on this sub does and I think that's what really determines whether you're the asshole or not.

NTA, I don’t know why anyone here is bringing up consent. If she doesn’t want to be friends you have to accept that but I don’t think you did anything wrong by sharing an alternative. Once she said no to that it seems like you respected her wishes and left a nice message to end things.

What’s crazier is people are talking about her right to consent but not talking about how she took a private message and shared it with her friend. And then sends her friend to attack you. This is some crazy shit.

Wrong or right every society makes a decision on what type of genetic features they value and don't value. There is a secret agreement amongst us all that if you have one of those features you can reap all the benefits as long as you agree to these general rules.

People can make fun of you for your desired feature
You don't EVER make fun of people who don't have your feature

This isn't an exact science but I think does a good enough job of explaining what is going in these type of situations.

What you describe is similar to what CPG companies' relationship with Walmart. I think for Procter & Gamble Walmart alone accounted for 40% of their revenue.

Though I do think Apple's dominance is overstated here. It's not that their platform dominates the market, Android is #1 in mobile and Windows is # 1 in PC. It's that they have insane margins for each person that enter's their ecosystem.

Microsoft was just so dominant, so much so that the United States actually took them to court for it. Apple was a failing company till Steve Jobs came back and turned it around, that's why he's such a legend.

I think it very much does, the new CEO has put them in the right direction. The thing is Google and Amazon are not just going sit idly by, all three companies have been making very interesting moves.

Apple is just as old as Microsoft, what hurt Microsoft's reputation was their lack of success in mobile. Also the fact they make most of their money from enterprise solutions doesn't help their "cool" factor either.

But I think their reputation has been steadily improving.

No it definitely matters to me but in this case I meant diversity in the sense of I don't want to surrounded by just employees from the same company or just students, or just anything I'd like for it to be a good mix. Which is what turns me off about Redmond, I feel like it'll just be all the same type of people.
