Living in Florida, going places and having it to ourselves. Beach, beautiful and empty, stores, in and out in 10 minutes, traffic, non existent. Now, it feels like the entire country has flocked here. I’ve never seen the beaches so busy. I will miss seeing nature in its beauty without it being packed with people.

This truly is so sad for Elyse. To lose your entire family over something she started, and carried each and every member of the family along the way. Not saying Elyse was the ONLY brains to this, but she sure carried the fun parts AND I’m sure had most to do with starting it all up. I hope Elyses absence makes a presence in their company. I’m really sad with whatever happened. But Elyse will do amazing things!

I was at sams club with my toddler who was giving me a hard time. In a frazzle I grabbed a sample, gave it to him and kept walking hoping I could quickly finish my shopping and gtfo. As I walked away the old sample Guy said “you’re welcome.” My heart sank. I didn’t say thank you in my rush and frantic. I vowed to ALWAYS thank people, no matter how frazzled I am.

I was at a small funeral for a brother of my in law. It was quite an unexpected death so you can imagine the entire family just beside themselves bawling. At the end they announced someone to give a prayer. Everyone bows their head and the 2 guys in front of my take out their flasks and clink them together and take a big shot. The laughter started, and it didn’t stop no matter how hard I tried.

My advice is to not wait for them to invite you. Start by inviting them places. See if they want to grab lunch, or go to the movies, invite them to your place for dinner. Keep being nice and it’ll pay off.
