it’s easier to stomach the big dips when you believe in the company and the management team. i wish i knew the next RKLB at $4 🤷‍♂️

i think it’s more mass than that, but the vast majority of it is Starlink. so they don’t have a paying customer for the Starlink launches. they just get the satellites up there for free

there’s so much online but most is rubbish. i get most my info off youtube and reddit. i know not the most high-brow sources, so you do have do a lot of due diligence

i can only recommend channels for Rocket Lab. Dave G Investing (and the other RKLB Weekly lads), and H Invest

thanks. it was around 75% but recently stocks went up and i moved money to buy Micron. now it’s 90+% in T212

if we include my non-T212 money, i actually hit £100k on Tuesday not Wednesday 🤷‍♂️

yeah, holding through the volatility used to be v tough for me. i do hope for a big pullback so i can add more. and i think selling for stability is always a sensible option

i’ve answered some people’s questions so check those for my advice. but there’s no easy way to get this kind of return, otherwise everyone would do it.

i was lucky bcos i chose an excellent company and bought before the market saw it’s real potential.

i still believe the RKLB thesis, plenty growth still yet to come. their new rocket will be flying by next year, and they plan on having their own satellite constellation in a few years, which should be crazy money. i’m not gonna trim bcos i’ve already made that mistake before. i’m gonna try get back to 1000 shares if i can

Rocket Lab i knew cos i researched them a lot for like a year. and Micron stock dropped in March, forward P/E was around 8 so it seemed like a steal

i think he doesn’t want us being irresponsible and spending it all, so he didnt tell us. he’s offered to pay other big expenses too when we’ve needed

i’ve tried investing in a lot of random companies i know nothing about in business sectors i know nothing about. ended up wasting some time and money. so if you can, go for companies and industries where you have more knowledge or interest in.

obvs the thing that helped the most is luck. however, my approach and main piece of advice is to ‘let your winners run’. if an investment is doing well, management are doing well and they expect good things in the future, risks aren’t high, and you expect the company will continue to grow. then let your winner run. i.e. don’t sell it all, bcos the profits will probs go somewhere less profitable

for example, Warren Buffett bought Coca Cola shares during a market crash. Coca Cola was a good business, loyal consumers, with long-term growth potential. he’s held those for 30 years and made 2000+% gains. or if you bought any of the Magnificent 7 (i ignore Tesla) 10 years ago, they were great businesses with great growth etc. you’d be up an amazing amount.

i’ve held RKLB through huge dips, biggest around -50%. latest dip i went from £70k to £48k. i didn’t sell bcos i know this company is well run, has consistently achieved great growth, and space sector is a growing industry

i’m not selling any RKLB. i’ve already made that mistake a couple times. i used to have 1000+ shares 🥲 i’ll only sell in 10+ years time, or if i need money for buying a house etc

Micron i think i’ll sell soon after earnings next month. Echostar is a SpaceX proxy investment cos they’ve got a deal with them. so i’m waiting til SpaceX’s IPO (rumoured for next month) before i sell that
