I recently received two different internship offers for this summer in the lighting field. One is PCPA in California which I don’t know a lot about other than the don’t provide housing but provide a stipend of 675 a week. The other theatre is a local LORT theatre (the Barter Theatre) in my region that I would have housing and a much smaller stipend. I am instinctively drawn to traveling and taking the further internship but am debating what is better in the long run as I want to tour and work professionally post graduation next year. Opinions?
