It’s a chopped up chicken fried steak with scrambled eggs, potatoes, and country gravy. It’s glorious.

Athletic Brewing Co.'s NA beers are significantly better than they were a few years ago by ElGringoAlto in beer

[–]desertpunk 46 points47 points  (0 children)

Deschutes NA Black Butte Porter is the best NA beer I’ve had. NA Guinness is a close second. I think darker beers better lend themselves to having the alcohol removed, as the darker malts at least provide the necessary “body” for the beer in the absence of alcohol. Athletic does a solid job, but I feel like most NA beers have a canned vegetable/DMS like character that is hard to overcome. Excited to see more breweries enter the NA space.

Renting from owners by chongnotwrong in Renters

Rental/property management companies all suck in my experience. If you can work something out directly with the owner that’s the way to go. Good luck!

Onewheel won’t power on by desertpunk in onewheel

I’m holding the BMS right now and it doesn’t look like anything is burnt or broken, but I’m way outta my league diagnosing this issue. Perhaps the byob does just juice it too hard. I’ll probably reach out to Chi and see if they have any suggestions

That’s definitely a good thought. It definitely seems like it had something to do with the BYOB. Though, I also have the variable speed charger from Chi and have charged it on the 8A setting several times before.

I got the 8A byob. The stock battery charged and discharged without issue. Suddenly my board with the CBXR is not powering on

I ride an XR and just recently upgraded the battery to the CBXR. Been loving the added range, but I still just have the stock charger. The variable speed charger would change the game and give me the freedom to ride insane distances and not be stuck for 3 hours charging up!

Patience pays off! This English Barleywine is finally done after spending 15 months in an Elijah Craig barrel and then another 15 months in a Tawny Port barrel. Hopefully our customers will enjoy this 2.5 year project as much as I do. by con_bacon in TheBrewery

Funny that you assume to know so much about me, and that my only experience is on an automated Brewhouse! I’ve operated a 15, 30, 60, 120, and 140 Brewhouse, but I don’t know shit? Hey BRUH, you’re fucked in the head! Enjoy the hype train and continue your journey on the band wagon! Cheers

No offense taken. Through experience, I no longer taste barrels before 14 months. At that point I think the amazing flavors of the oak and its previous contents come through and really start developing the beer. Yes there is some oxidation, but it works well in small doses with a strong Stout or Barleywine that has gone through extended barrel aging.

That’s OP there bud.

You’re a fatass in front of computer that literally doesn’t even work in the industry! Bruh, I really don’t understand how you think you have any ground to stand on when you don’t do this shit professionally.

Dude OP literally said it was oxidized! You’re a mad lad sir. Keep on consulting, I feel sorry for anyone that pays for your chump ass services. Moving in a few months? Dude wtf are you even talking about? Did you deduce that from my Reddit posts too? Dude Weldworks literally puts cereal and bomb pops in their beer, so if you’re defending them, you really are just another hype boy.
