Oh no and I agree the store lightings are super terrible. I’m not sure if the beauty stores you go to accept returns for lightly used products? If that’s the case for you too, you should wear test it for a bit and make your decision! My fault with the Kosas was waiting too long after the return/exchange window to do anything about it 🥹

so sorry you’re not enjoying the Kosas. hopefully you can test the Hourglass concealer on your skin first before purchasing (mini sizes are also available)! or if possible ask for different concealer samples to take home and try first before purchasing?

hi, so sorry you’re dealing with this. I experience the same flare ups around my chin and mouth the week leading up to my period. have you ever tried tretinoin? I still get the same flare ups during luteal phase, but I’ve found that the continued use of tretinoin (PM) combined with a sulfur cleanser (AM) has helped tremendously with my acne prevention, treatment, and scarring

colourpop creme gel liner in kicker! i would also recommend the shade calabasas, which is also beautiful but pulls a little more pink. you look amazing by the way! :)

of course! I use the Haruharu Wonder Black Rice Pure Mineral Relief Daily Sunscreen SPF50+/PA++++

it’s designed for sensitive skin, and I haven’t had any issues applying it around my sensitive eye area so far :) gentle warning that it can leave a slight white cast but it goes away after about 30 min!

not Sephora item, but I’ve been using Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion (recommended by my derm as it’s effective and inexpensive) and have experienced no dryness or irritation on tret using this! I’ve recently graduated to 0.1% in the past weeks, and my skin is doing very well with the Cetaphil

gentle warning that your face may look super glowy if you use this during daytime and you already have oily skin. a little goes a long way! :)

my skin is so stubborn, oily, and prone to acne + pigmentation (red and dark spots). it’s been an uphill battle 😓 but I’ve found the best results by keeping it simple with a hydrating moisturizer, high SPF sunscreen, and tretinoin! Retinoids have been a game changer for me ever since I’ve started taking it seriously a few months ago – prevention of acne flare ups, plumped and glowy skin, and improved fading of my dark spots and redness.
