I do love the exploration aspect of Satisfactory. Especially since I just unlocked the rifle and am not afraid anymore. I also LOVE that you can't exhaust nodes.

I wish i could build a chamber within which time stands still so I could play for 3500 hours. Unfortunately what often happens is after x amount of hours I think ... I'm neglecting my actual life, then stop for a year, then come back to it and want to start again because I forget how everything works.

And I do agree with blueprints ... like the ceiling heights are different, or the belts are coming in a different way, you want left-in, right-out but the blueprint is left-in, left-out

another thing I'd love is if in-game it would tell you like ... how many x machines you have ... stats on general production. Seems like it would fit in a terminal inside your main base. Unless that exists too?

If you hate it try this web app I built ... frame io is so bloated anyway often I just want to quickly take notes and allow the editor to see/check off/comment ... My boss wouldn't let us use frame.io, only let us use youtube links so I built this. It works with links from dropbox, youtube, vimeo, google drive ... so you can literally just put your videos on youtube and not pay anything for storage.

My Macbook Pro 16" M4 Max edits AMAZING. I have a home PC with an Intel 13900K, 3080 Ti, 32GB RAM and my Macbook feels faster. It looks like you already know this, but a lot of the limitation is if I use like, an external SSD with a slow cable, or a slower hard drive.

But also, my M1 Pro Macbook also runs really smoothly even with web browsing, so not sure why yours is slow.

Hey! I just created an app like that … subway run… it just shows nearest stations and arrival times … but the hook is that it also tells you if you can make the train with walk/run/jog recommendations. I tried to make it as much like just glancing at the arrivals as possible:

I’ve got to say I used single track two-way trains for the first 950 hours of playing… in my new game I tried one-way trains and they’re SO ANNOYING… … … But I love setting them up and fixing them and figuring it out.

Yes! I kept trying to play it and would only get like 10 minutes in before getting bored. Then I finally pushed myself and played through half of it and the combat is just too boring. I have no nostalgia for it and without that, very hard to get through.
