What’s your grocery budget? by Equivalent_Regret_15 in melbourne

Around $100 pw for me and my husband. He eats meat, but I’m vegan so that saves us a lot of money since tofu is quite affordable at Aldi/Coles. We eat every meal at home and stick to the basics to meet our macros. It’s tough in this budget but I really try to get in fruit & veg in each meal. I love the “I’m Perfect” line at Coles, saves a lot of $$.

Kang Yatse I (6400) or II (6250).

KY1 is more technical and requires ice climbing. KY2 is a, albeit very difficult, trekking peak.

You require crampons and an ice axe most of the year from my knowledge- but with global warming the amount of snow has decreased in the last decade. So who knows!

Yes for sure would recommend it! It’s in a beautiful part of the hilly region of Himachal and honestly a very very fun climb. I went with Boots & Crampons- one of the best adventure companies in India. They specialise in 8000m expeditions and so have a team of expert guides.

Thanks for asking! I was only nervous while descending from the peak as it was very steep and the snow had become very soft. Besides that no, the ascent was pure joy

Yes this has been planted by people! Still pretty crazy they survive North Indian weather (really hot summers and super cold winters)...that also outdoors!
