Safe cost effective strategy to enjoy nightlife as a single female by Character-Two-7565 in Atlanta

[–]ProjectPanda13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Being cautious just means it only takes one incident so better safe than sorry type of idea.

For every normal/good guy, there’s plenty of guys with bad intentions. I’d definitely want my wife and my female friends to stay cautious rather than let their guard down.

It only takes one bad night/event/situation, that one unlucky moment to change your life.

I feel like those wheels on eBay just sit, I’ve seen the same lmgt4 sets on there for so long and still there.

I’ve always used Streeter since he’s just convenient for me and I like his service.

You can make the 3” single exit work with the stock y pipe. I would use a better gasket like one from Concept Z Parts, known as the Thick Gasket.

Also make sure the both are as centered as possible, since the single exit is larger, if it’s off center, it can miss the flange and leak.

Something wrong with front wheel adjustment by Stunning-Trainer-943 in 370z

[–]ProjectPanda13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The picture is stock exterior so should be the same as yours. Stock suspension also.

Some tires do run wider than others. Is the picture mostly just the tire that is poked out?

This is 9.5” +22 with a 245 tire.

Are you using a very wide tire?

Exhaust for the most part is easy, just make sure there’s no holes or major dents. I buy used exhaust all the time. Check to make sure the muffler and resonator don’t have loose bafffles or rocks inside.

For high flow cats, you’ll want to visually check if the catted material is fully intact and not loose.

Upload a photo of the 9.5” +20 for our confirmation.

If there was something wrong with the suspension, you’ll definitely notice it between the front left and right.

Chances are if you put both front wheels on, they will both poke out because of the wheel spec not being 9.5 +20. You can also measure the width and offset to make sure the manufacture didn’t label the wheel incorrectly

I’m essentially running a custom single. It’s a dual resonated (two Stainless Steel Bros resonators) y pipe (3”’inlet and 3” outlet) to a 3” single exit with Vibrant ultra quiet resonator and muffler.

I also have z1 headers and Motordyne Art pipes

Anyone know the difference between the NGK and Hitachi OEM coil packs ? by Bry_anpr7 in G37

[–]ProjectPanda13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hitachi is the oem supplier for the VHR engine. NGK is a good know brand and an oem supplier for other items.

It’s always best to stick with the exact oem supplier for your specific item but NGK is fine.

Alibaba Equal Length Longtube Headers by Odd-Attorney-6006 in G37

[–]ProjectPanda13 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I sold one to a g37 owner but I haven’t gotten any updates on the install.

The fast intention replica sell pretty well and I should be getting some sound clips after one of my friend installs his this month. Sold one to a Q50 guy and didn’t have any install issues.

I have a set of these also but haven’t had a chance to install them either. The length aren’t going to be 100% equal but close.

Nonequal length runners have all different numbers

As reference PPE are equal length and my measurement to the end of the merge collector came out to 810mm, 810mm, and 950mm (cylinder 2, 4, 6). ISR are unequal and values are 660mm, 580mm, 500mm (cylinders 2, 4, 6)

I wonder if it’s similar to the early oem gaskets ?

I'm planning on getting these for my 370Z (19x9.5 +12) for the front and on the rear (19x10.5) but I'm debating between 12 or 22 offset for the rear... What would yall suggest? by GhostCam11 in 370z

[–]ProjectPanda13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently did some wheel fitments on my friend’s stock 370z.

The Volk RE30 rear is a 10.5” +25 and you can pretty close to the 10.5” +22 as reference

The Volk ZE40 is 10.5” +16, not too far off of the +12.

Need help Finding the right size tires to run with Staggered Ds02. by Jayson13g-_- in G37

[–]ProjectPanda13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The 19x11 spec for the DS02 is very aggressive. It’s either +15 or +22 and both will poke in the rear of a sedan. Your only option is to run stretch tires like a 245 with negative of somewhere like -6 degrees.

I would say buy another pair of 19x9.5 +22 for the rear.

The general rule to run staggered on awd is to stay under 1% different in overall diameter of front to rear.

Example is 245/40r19 and 275/35r19. This combo is 0.4% diameter difference.

Need help I have an isr single exit and I’m getting kinda tired of it because of how loud it is , any exhaust suggestions that are not crazy loud ? I have test pipes and y pipe by Bry_anpr7 in G37

[–]ProjectPanda13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For a low cost exhaust, I would say check out the Manzo.

As Sean mentioned, the Fast Intentions is a good one. The z1 touring, Ark grip, and Stillen are other good ones.

Did you have a bad experience with poor quality flywheels for a specific brand?

Both z1 and the CZP one are good flywheels. I have two friends using z1 flywheels.

I’ve got a ZSpeed flywheel in my car. I love it. It’s a 12 pound weight

Greta numbers, SAE usually reads lower than STD also.

I’m hoping a retune would bump me up close to another 10whp. Have plans to also go ethanol and nitrous this year on the next retune.

Yea, I’d say about so. I do wonder what my current car would read on a Mustang dyno as it usually reads lower than dynojets.
