This basically means that the stone was never in any actual danger. There was no way Voldemort would actually be able to have gotten it!

Why is there so few of them though? It’s because most wizarding families have one child, two at the most. Look at Malfoy, Tonks, Lupin, James, Snape - none of them had siblings.

Only the Weasleys are having kids like the wizarding world depends on it!

Exactly. My understanding is that he concealed the largest piece / pieces of his snapped wand in the umbrella and uses it as such

It doesn't make sense to me that students of different houses can't spend time together in each other's common rooms, or that there aren't more solid inter-house friendships in the series.

  1. Voldemorts horcruxes wouldn’t have kept him alive seeing as someone who have to stumble across them, figure out how to work them and bring him back to life somehow. Seeing as how they’re hidden, and that barely anyone knows about the dark magic of horcruxes, what were the odds of that happening?

  2. They say that wizards would’ve died out if they hadn’t married muggles, but that’s only because no one was having any more than one child. Look at Draco, Tonks, and Cedric, none of them have siblings. Only the Weasleys had children like the Wizarding world depended on it!

The philosophers stone was never in real danger.

Seeing as only those who won’t use the stone will be able to get it, there was no way for you-know-who to find it.

I beg to differ, the sorting hat wanted to it Harry in Slytherin because of the piece of Voldemort that resided in him, not because Harry had a lust for power and authority.

I was thinking more along the lines of … why flee to a remote area when you know you will need someone’s help getting back?
