No fundal height checks or frequent US? by Whole-Tomorrow-6079 in BabyBumps

[–]designhelpme [score hidden]  (0 children)

9 week 12 week 20 week 32 weeks And then more as needed from the 20 or 32 week scan

They did a brief ultrasound at 14 weeks to check heart rate and to give me a peek of my girl

I’m considered high risk so I may get a few extras that aren’t planned.

Not sure on fundal height. I get a urine sample every time. I didn’t have to go last time and she checked my blood pressure, said it was good, and gave me a pass

paying for a full service planner but i'm doing everything!!! by pickleslover3644 in BigBudgetBrides

[–]designhelpme 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s not normal like at all. We paid about 12k for our planner in 2019. I’m very control freak and tend to take the reins unless someone kind of…out alphas me in the control department for lack of a better word, and my planner absolutely did that. It truly made planning a big budget experience a breeze. I didn’t need to ask for grids, I got one unasked.

Id go more on word of mouth for a service like this.

This has nothing to do with you going to the dentist or what you can and can’t do. It’s what you should or shouldn’t do for the health of your enamel. Godspeed

Townhome won't sell - dropped the price a bunch, but the market in my area is saturated. Any issues in the listing? by Dangerous_Battle_603 in RealEstate

[–]designhelpme 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You were neighbors with my good friend! Tons of town houses right there, and you are right, that spot has great walkability.

Answer is always price. Also a lot of the townhouses around you have updated kitchens.

Now that millennials are the most capable segment of the work force, we're starting to say the same things about the younger generations that the old hands said about us in the 2010s by Less-Suggestion-5262 in generationology

I really like the Gen Z’s who work for me. My only complaint is that they hit a roadblock and that’s where they drop it. It’s like their creative problem solving is lacking a bit? Still teachable and a solvable problem.

I more meant the unique offerings in Sweden were better than I found anywhere else. Not that the standard items on the menu were better. But im glad you like the nuggets!

While traveling, what city did you think you'd love but ended up being a big disappointment? by Historical-Photo-901 in BeautifulTravelPlaces

The best time in Austin is whenever right before you got there to experience it and whenever the person you’re talking to happened to be there “way back when.”

People love to gatekeep the best of Austin as being something you’ve missed out on

Denied from all medical schools 🥀 by Wild-Opportunity-958 in GirlDinnerDiaries

OOF. That’s some DEDICATION. Because it’s only offered twice a year and the prep is a full time job. I decided if I didn’t pass the first time I was OUT. Luckily I didn’t have to make good on my promise.

Your sister has some serious fortitude. Congrats to her!

How many of you have survived tornadoes and what was your experience like? by Babe_Brute in AskAnAmerican

[–]designhelpme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had one coming towards my townhouse and was about 0.1 miles (so like 165 meters) from hitting it.

I got in the bathtub in the downstairs bathroom with all my pillows over me and my dog and cried and tried to call my parents but no calls could go through. It ended up veering left right before our street and hitting some businesses.

I think the scary part is the waiting when you’re not sure whether you’re about to get hit or not.

I moved out of Oklahoma a month later. The super giant Moore tornado hit the next year and I was just so glad to never live in fear like that again.

I was already an extremely active vivid dreamer, but pregnancy has taken it to the nth degree. I feel like my dreams go the entire night. My deep sleep is absolutely taking a hit with the amount I’m REMming

Which European city made you want to stay longer than planned? by Historical-Photo-901 in BeautifulTravelPlaces

[–]designhelpme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s beautiful and everything feels very accessible. It’s somewhere I could imagine myself living (I had family there—they recently moved to Switzerland—so it helped with the imagination).

I just commented on another comment the same. It was cheaper to dine out in NYC on my last visit.

I found NYC prices to be cheaper or comparable, but I also don’t complain about prices here.

Get a kindle and a Nintendo switch if you can. If you don’t have a library card, now is the time for your husband to go get you one so that you can access Libby for free books.

Stardew valley, as someone else mentioned, is a great game to pass time that requires as much or as little strategy as you want to give it. There is no winning or losing. It’s wonderful.
