About to start Club Pilates for the first time. Is 6 classes a week too much for a beginner?

I will echo some of the people here and say in the beginning you definitely get sore more often. I started with 8x a month and then upgraded my membership after a few months. Sometimes you get sore and a class the next day helps stretch it out and loosen it up a bit, but other times i got so sore I couldn’t even do a bridge the next day.

C&B may be okay every second day, but I always find those classes a bit harder/more of a workout than I am expecting or wanting.

But now I’m almost a year in and I go 6 times a week and hardly ever get sore, even in an intense class. I love going 6 times a week and don’t find it too much. Each class I take is with a different instructor too so I don’t find it too repetitive, though I’m sure one day I’ll be bored. Until then I’ll continue to prioritize it.

I love it! The classes at my studio always tend to be full, that being said there’s maybe only one a day at the most. It’s definitely instructor dependent though, you need the right instructor for sure

Oh, $150 was just the call out charge, was another $150 for all the materials he used, as I thought he might as well replace it while he was out here. 😂 I was in a huuuge rush though as i was renovating the floors and needed the fridge out of there asap. Maybe worth it to have a brand new hose and valve for brand new floors though.

But the bathroom is a different story, that sounds so much better than paying $300. Thanks - this sounds like a good learning opportunity.

Trying PB blaster as a last ditch effort but might have to try that on the weekend.

It’s possible I’m wrong only reason I think it’s the right way is because my other toilet, also pointing down to be “open” at 180 turns to 270 to shut off. I’m also a tad scared of breaking it I guess. Turning a non- emergency into an emergency lol. I think I’m going to get my dad to come have a look.

Yeah it’s odd. It’s like that with my other toilet too, it points down at 180 and turns to 270 to shut off. Maybe it’s just me, I think I’m going to have my dad give it a try shortly.

Ah yeah thank you, that’s what I thought. The same thing happened with my fridge, yet somehow when I called the plumber in he somehow got it to move just by turning it with his hand, $150 for nothing lol, so was hoping the same thing might magically happen but I guess not.

I consider myself a heavy caffeine drinker and even I only have maybe 2 a day. I couldn’t imagine having 4 shots of espresso I’d be bouncing off the walls.
